hate pretty much everything else but absolutely loath squats, only reason I do them is so I won't have chicken legs and people on /fit/ don't call me a pussy when I post my squat stats

Which is why I've started doing dumbbell training for bench as a replacement for barbell. Much easier to bail out of on heavy weight.

rock climbing is erright, but requires a bunch of gear, prep work, and if you make mistakes you could die.

My brother has been climbing for 10 years. He got to the top of a route one time and realised he did not buckle his harness.

Why take the risk, to do something that basically amounts to a bunch of pullups?

Bike tour thread.

I am planing on doing a 200km road trip with my bike.
I am driving my bike every day but usually don't go further than 40km.

So I am concerned with with water and food.
Should I eat anything at all, or just fruits?
With the water I am taking about 3L of water, 1L of fruit juice, BCAA and some Boosters (in case I get tired)

Your recommendations?

its not good but.

water icecream is actually pretty low on cals as a snack. a pretty decent sized water icecream is 60 cals.

i have one after dinner almost everyday even if i am cutting, it helps the cravings and i am still below 1400 cals every day.

Fresh veggies just taste better, but frozen vegetables have almost all of the same nutrients. Same with frozen fruit.
I often get frozen vegetables because they won't go bad so I can wait a week before I feel like eating some asparagus, there's no veggie pressure.

So, this guy ran 50 ironman in 50 states in 50 days sleeping 4h30 a night, apparently thanks to his red bull consumption and 3500kcal breakfasts...

My question is: is this kind of thing even possible natty? I mean 2.5 miles swim, 112 miles bicycle, 26 miles running, times 50, in 50 days????

my instincts tells me this isn't possible natty for 99% of already fit people, and this guy is obviously on gear

but I could be wrong

after all they are plenty of natty tour de france riders, they don't win, but they exist, only 2/3 of tour de france competitors are on gear I think

the total volume of tour de france is pretty insane, but not as insane as 50 ironman, "only" about 100-120 miles a day, 21 days with 2 rest days.

what do you think? what PED could help for this?
