>be me
>be a nerd
>everyone thinks i'm smart and beta
>start lifting
>pack on noticeable muscle mass
>everyone thinks i'm a big stupid jock and alpha
>i'm not alpha
>try to dress 'smarter' while still being slightly joocy
>well dressed /fit/ male
>everyone thinks you're gay
What the fuck?
>>37435441
>fuck women, be overtly sexual around only women, comment on attractiveness of women
>nobody will think you're gay
Not that hard
>>37435481
>be overtly sexual around only women
It's 2016 dude. Feminists have hijacked everything. I'm not trying to get sued for verbal rape or shamed for flirting with wimmin
>I'm trying to create a reputation based on how I look and dress
what are you, a woman?
>/fit/ thinks that they could defend themselves in a fight
>how they actually look

Kek a 135 pound wrestler could beat the shit out of you pussies
That's what I thought.
>>37431007
Nothing to disagree with here.
>inb4 the mountain would kill a 135lb mma fighter
That's a MAYBE. But he wouldn't last a minute against any top 20 heavyweight fighter from any combat sport
>>37430961
Well no shit this isn't a fuckin MMA board now is it?
How do I into female fridgemode aesthetics?
Stay out of crossfit, save hundreds of dollars, do squats and deads.

Jesus what amazing breeding specimines
Does anyone else think rugby players have the best natural body type in the world? Too much emphasis is placed on mass these days. There is literally no reason to get bigger than this.
>natural
>bigger than this
You are talking for a very small minority here and in general
Actually this is already not socially acceptable (sizewise)
That guy is fucking humongous
So, I'm bringing this to you all because /x/ mods have their heads up their ass.. how would you train physically to battle the paranormal? I'm not talking about lame shit like ghosts and demons, those guys are easy as fuck to battle and you don't need any muscle
>NOTHING CAN STOP THE CRUSADE *slings holy water*
I'm talking the legitimately fucking unnerving shit. Xenomorphs from the Alien series. The Doppleganger from It Follows. The Things from The Thing. And last but not least, motherfucking Predators.
Would you be tough enough to take this shit on? How would you routine reflect your efforts to go toe to toe with the challenges creatures like these pose?
Be reborn as Guts
>>37429297
He's cool and all but how would he stand against shit with acid for blood or nuke gauntlets?
Imho I'd finally get good at cardio and just try to outrun everything
When fighting creatures driven by instict you have to be aware that these animals have better senses than you. They are stronger bigger and more cunning than a straigjt forward meathead. What all those creatures fear is something big or intimidating.
>So you have to be big, what else?
You should have been in a multitude of fights and battles, street hand-to-hand fights and war zones so you keep your adrenaline in check.
>calmness of the mind, what else?
Being quick and agile, having the ability to dodge incomeing claws requires foresight and matrix like reflexes or you bring so big you can take it (which given by the nature of the human skin wont do much since broken skin = infection)
Basically you have to be a 7'0 + build spirited wise person
You have to literally leave humanity behind.
Hurt my back this week, feeling bummed that I'm not in the gym. Can /fit/ give me any good feels stories that happened to them recently? Breaking PRs, strangers mirin', got laid, etc. Positive vibes and constructive shitposting welcome.
>>37421660
I've got a couple of good feels to share. I'll start with a PR.
>Tuesday
>Day 2 of sheiko skills test
>Already PR'd on squat yesterday by 30 lbs and bench today by 20 lbs
>Time for deadlift
>Have pulled 510 before but hurt my back, failed an attempt after c6w 2 months ago
>Feeling good today
>Pull 495 ezpz
>Load up 515
>Want to record myself
>First attempt, break the ground but come up on my toes
>Put weight down, rest 5 minutes try again
>Listen to the song that gets my adrenaline going the most https://youtu.be/9m4685liWb0
>As soon as I hit record on my phone, stand up, lock my belt in, walk to the bar
>Looks like an SLDL but set a new PR of 515
I was fucking pumped desu senpai.
>>37421714
Nice, I'm mirin'. Last week my PR was benching lmao1plate for 7 reps. Also got over my fear of asking a complete stranger to spot me. He was super cool about it though.
>>37421660
I hit 135 5x5 for my first time this week, two days later I tried again with out a spotter and got it. Feel pretty good considering 4 months ago I could barely rep 65lbs.
Been stuck with 13 inchers cold for quite a while now.
Do I need to gain 15lb for another 1 inch?

>Chicken - Great source of protein
>Rice - Great source of cabrohydrates and plenty of fibres
>Broccoli - A lot of fibres, vitamins and minerals

Also how to get rid of stretch marks and loose skin?
>>37429356
Let your hair grow over it.
Btw, natty?
>>37429356
Surgery for the loose skin.
>>37429356
How much fat did you lose to end up with that lose skin/stretch marks brah?
Heres what i dont understand. Supposedly, your resting metabolic rate is mainly based on oxigen needs and heart rate. Doing stuff that raises your heart rate raised your metabolic needs, such as the EPOC effect.
So if thats the case.., then how that people who have a good stamina (which are the people who tend to have higher metabolisms) have lower heart rates on average?? How does that work? If their heart rates are lower.., how can their energy need be higher?
dude
>>37428871
What..?
>>37428860
They have a higher ejection fraction. And the body is not an engine the heart rate can be higher for a lot of reasons, it's not like the bodies energy consumption rate can be quantified from the amount of blood that is pumped around. Its merely an indication.
seems like everywhere I go now dudes are always eyeing me up and giving me the fuck off face because I got a bit of muscle.
The fuck is this all about? I just wanna party and get some puss and the entire club mean mugs me except for the other /fit/ dudes.
Anyone else experience this?
>>37426485
Not /fit/ but as a lanklet that's been my experience of pretty much every manlet I walk past.
Also
> 2016
> going to clubs
Yeah I fucking hate it. It's always manlets and guys in their 40's too. Just fuck off seriously.
>>37426577

>Tfw my bar path is massively fixed
>>37432305
That sounds about right. I've been losing my grip strength too, but I figured that was from using a thicker pull up bar and barbell than usual.
