18 is when I hit a 3 play bench, now at 20 in pushing a 4 plate bench, 6 plate squat and 6 plate dead. Maybe I could have a gotten a scholarship to a d2 school for ball if I had started at 16. Confidence would have helped in he senior years in hs so probably

Does my girlfriend secretly hate me?
We lift in order to get bigger and stronger, but in this progress we develope one deficiency - I, for one cannot scratch my back. And my woman while great - never nags, does great bj, and is sometimes supportive - refuses to scratch my back.
However long I would beg or blackmail her, she refuses. Is she a crypto sadistic? Does she take hidden pleasure in my agony of despair, wiggling my giant arms hopelessly, trying to scratch my itchy back? I must use a crowbar or fork to scratch myself and it's not pleasant.
Does any of you have the same problem? Should I upgrade to a boyfriend?

So lately I don't know exactly why but I have been fucking up my knee occasionally when running. Two months ago I completely hurt my knee and could barely put weight on it. Took a 3 week break on running. Felt healthy to go back to running. First week was good but then on the second week I started to fuck it up again. Also getting bad Shen splits. What am I doing wrong? I have been running for month and just recently my knee can't handle it anymore. What is going on?

From my experience i got shin splits for running on treadmills then street running on different days. Also my shoes played a big part in this. My knew also hurts alot now but im trying to build the muscle around my knee. Havent ran in about 2 months and i feel fat as fuck

How do you motivate people to start going to the gym?
My best friend is fat and has basically no discipline. He dropped out of HS because he was to lazy and is currently failing some stupid non-regular HS that allows him to repeat classes as often as he wants. He often starts things like completely banning his computer from his life, actually studying for school, fixing his diet or learning to program but always fails a few weeks in.
He even went to the gym for a month because of the "Bosstransformation", an overpriced meme routine by some (probably) roid-rapper.
That would be sad but okay if he didn't care but he is always complaining how shit he looks and how unsuccessful he is.
Every time he quits something he has some kind of excuse so it's never him being responsible for his failure.
I told him that's what he's doing and that he is the only person responsible for his future, but he keeps quiting on things as soon as they get hard.
It's so frustrating and I don't know how to motivate him to do anything. I offered to go to the gym for him. I'd even changed my workout so that it was enough cardio that he could leave while I went to doing some weight stuff. Same goes for school, I can help him in every subject but he just isn't motivated enough to learn.

I don't like your chances: as long as it's easier to find an excuse than to change, he'll do that.
But it sounds like he's got worse problems than just skipping the gym. I'd guess he has no drive to succeed because he doesn't believe he can. If he's a failure, why put in effort just to keep failing? He needs to believe he can succeed, and I suspect the only way he'll get there is by picking an easy enough goal.
Basically you need to treat him like a child. Are you willing to do that?

1 pack of uncle bens spicy mixed pepper rice
1 bottle of Nandos peri peri sauce
1 bottle of any other tomato based sauce you want
2 fully grown testicles
1 desire to eat healthy lean food
DO THIS:
1 cook the fillet
2 cook the rice
3 mix up the peri peri sauce and the other sauce of your choosing
4 heat up the sauce, add pepper if you want, maybe some mixed herbs I don't know do whatever it's your meal famalam
5 cut the chicken into chunks or strips depending on your sexuality
6 mix it all in together like a goddam animal
FINAL STEP

Rice, red beans, some kind of protein (usually chicken or flank steak)
Olive oil over the rice, special seasoning over the chicken/steak
Rotisserie chicken, pulled apart
Two cans of kidney beans
2-3 big yellow onions
Mushrooms, as many as you want
Slice and saute the onions, dont chop. Put in the mushrooms. Then the chicken and lastly the beans. Add some garlic if you want.
Make a salsa of whatever you want, I chop up tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, salt, pepper.
Put everything in a tortilla bread, drizzle some quality balsamic vinager.
Great for making in bulk, everytime I need a meal I just take it out of the fridge, throw some on a tortilla bread, reheat, add salsa, and Im golden.

As long as you do some incline work it couldn't be that bad despite this being a b8 thread, dips have helped me increase my bench quite a bit. Mark Bell said in a video a while back that he took a break from bench for a bit and was doing weighted dips and when he came back he hit a PR but I'm not sure where that was.
