What do you call this exercise? I call them side bends. This is the only thing I do for obliques right now, since I'm already accustomed to standing around holding a dumbbell at my side. I don't care for doing hundreds of twisting crunches, and side bends with heavy weight also help strengthen forearms.

What's /fit/'s experience with this exercise? Any other oblique exercises you can recommend?

I finally did it /pol/ I finally got a gf, she's 5'1 and at 15 she has to potential to be high test but I have to shape her. I have a general idea of workouts for her but the tricky thing is what her diet should be. Is there like a recipe out there for a high test /fit/ girl? Form seems not terrible. Your knees are traveling a bit too forward maybe. Also, you seem to be doing low bar squat but I'm not sure you have the bar in the right place (it seems like sort of a medium position?). Rippetoe on youtube has good reference on bar position if you want to double check that.

Also, you look like a more babyfaced version of someone I know so I did a triple take on your vid there.

Sup fit depressed brah here. Made some posts a few weeks back.
I won't claim im severely depressed cause I'm not taking meds and can enjoy life to some degree.

Quick recap:

Felt really bad about myself afterwards. Like i didn't deliver.

Keep dating her for solid 7 months while she says stuff like
'As long as you satisfy me I won't cheat on you'

Soon my brain went into overdrive constantly worring whether I will get hard the next time I see her to be 'a man like others'
My moods&grades went down, stress levels increased Week by Week. February my eye started twitching and sleep problems occured.

When I finally broke up in May my stress levels peaked. I couldn't get hard even to porn.
So what have I been doing since then:

My thoughts are 50% hatred towards that slut, 40% self pity cause I would give anything to have my old life back and 10% anxiety.
Today i woke up at 6:20 and had literally outbursts of anger.

Has anyone some warm words or advise?

if you don't know about it it's powdered food - apparently contains all your needed macronutrients and calories so you could hypothetically survive on it eating nothing else. 150g per 2000 calories and a scoopful is 161 calories.

I just got home from uni and found my brother had bought some. Thinking about using it in shakes - 1 scoop protein, 2 scoops huel, peanut butter, whole milk. That's got to be a lot of calories right there.

anyone use it? what do you think?

yeah I wouldn't suggest just living on it to anyone. I'm more interested in using it in shakes and alongside meals in order to get enough protein and calories while bulking.

Do you guys use any 'over the counter' pain killers before a workout?

I'm an out of shape piece of shit and get bad cramps everytime I exercise, but if I take these before I'm fine. I'm just wondering if it would hinder my gains or health at all.
