so i work retail, unloading trucks and stocking product. last saturday i was stocking some shit and bent over to put it away then stood up and banged the back of my head fairly hard on this metal shelving. i didn't pass out or see stars or anything. the next day at work it started to ache a bit and bugged me off and on. that night after work i went to the er and he examined me and said everything seemed ok and diagnosed me with a closed head injury. the next day i called in with a doctors note and relaxed at home. since then i've had an off and on almost constant headache varying in severity, with some pressure near the back of my head and sometimes in my forehead, and soreness as well. my neck gets stiff and so does my upper/middle back. other then that and the anxiety over worrying about everything, i don't have any other symptoms. went to a walk in clinic for a follow up earlier today. she did the same tests (check pupils, touch my nose, etc etc....) and she said everything seemed ok that since its been so long i don't have to worry about shit like internal bleeding, just to take it easy and wait for it to get better. i kind of wish they had given me a cat scan just to put my mind at ease that it isn't something more serious but if both docs i seen didn't recommend it then i guess it wasn't needed. wonder if i do have a concussion or if "closed head injury" is another word for concussion. for the most part i don't feel that confused or out of it, just a hair more tired then usual. has anybody else hit their head and had soreness, pain, and headaches for some time afterwords? sorry not trying to treat y'all like my own webmd, just want some reassurance and help to stop worrying over this.

Id start doing neck strengthening exercises once you recover. You probably have a strained neck or a pinched nerve. Do light neck rotations and some cardio and see if it gets better.

Been cutting calories for 5 months and working out for 4 months (with calisthenics) I've lost about 55 pounds of fat and gained ten pounds of muscle. I was at 245 (5'7), and now it's starting to slow down around 200. My strength gains are starting to really slow down and I feel somewhat weak throughout the day because I'm restricting myself to 1,300 calories a day, give or take 200. I'm determined to get to a healthy weight before I begin my first "bulk." I'm really excited to blast it out in the gym but it would seem I have at the very least 4 to 6 more months of cutting before I lose enough fat to be satisfied with it. I've been overweight my entire life.

Am I doing it right? Is it ok that I'm weak sometimes (though not so much that it interferes with my life)? Will 1,300 calories probably be a sufficient caloric deficit all the way to the end or will I have to drop it even further? It was hard enough getting used to 1,300 a day.

I forgot to mention I eat one cheat meal a week which pushes me probably 1500 to 2000 over my limit for that day (so 2,800 to 3,300 in that one day). It helps me stay sane and remind me how shitty it makes me feel the next day.

I've seen all sorts of stuff about maintaining a weekly calorie limit so that you can splurge one day and make up for it on others. But there was one video by Brandon Carter where he claimed weekly totals were bullshit because "yo body dont wait till the end of da week to calculate!" It didn't make any sense to me, but he's a beast so I wondered if there was any merit to that claim.
