Honestly my bench was horse shit. I bought a slingshot from howmuchyabench and it fixed my horse shit form. Went from 180lb raw bench to 230lbs in 4 months.

Protein shakes only contain one ingredient, whey and whey is a byproduct of the production of cheese. Once upon a time this product was discarded but protein jews saw an opportunity and by filtering and dehidrating the yellow fluid they invented a powder that is soluble in water and contain high amount of protein.

I'm a Dr.

So normally I ussually have this as my breakfast + a shake. After that I wait like 1-2 hours and have a healthy meal, usually 1dl of rice + broccoli and ~150g of chicken breast. I though this was a good source of energy until a week ago.

So I pigged out with my gf on a whole pizza and got like disgustingly full, like nauseous.

When we came home I chilled for a while and then hit the gym after ~3 hours and jesus christ that work out was fucking amazing it was like I had gasoline in my veins or something.

I assume this is because I just had a shitload of carbs I could use from the pizza together with the other disgusting shit.

Since then I've been trying to increase the ammount of energy I can get out of my pre-work out meal but to no prevail. It just seems that I dont get as explosive when I eat clean. Is there any good source of energy that isn't pizza?

I've tryed more rice with the meal or lots of fruit and berries with it but it just doesnt work.

Help me /fit/

You NEED fats in your diet. If you don't eat enough fat you're at high risk for being low test.

PSA: Drinking large amounts on a regular basis, to inebriation, is one of the most efficient ways to ruin your gains, recompose your macronutrient intake in a worse way, and to make you a fatass; 7kcal/g for alcohol, 4kcal/g for carbs. I guarantee you obesity prevalence would lower substantially if prohibition worked, on virtue of people being in denial of those liquid calories while making a big fuss over whole milk and shit.

So, /fit/, do you drink responsibly?

I think most people don't realize two things about the Prohibition era

1) How large and out in open the black market actually was. It was worse than weed is today; it simply did not prevent people from drinking

2) How much of an effect Prohibition has on the quality of the alcohol. Instead of the 2-4% alcohol level beer that was common to everyone, the underground industry started really pushing hard liquor, which beer had to start competing with... and now our common beers are double the alcohol level they were before, and bars are full of cocktails with 40%+ liquors. Also, the cheap nature of the high alcohol spirits that became common during prohibition made them taste like shit, and this is when we got a ton of cocktails that were filled with sugary shit to mask the taste. So now you go into a bar, and instead people ordering beer that would taste like hoppy water to us today, you see a ton of people getting blasted with a ton of high content alcohol and sugar.

Simply making it illegal couldn't work, and in fact worsened the problem quite a bit. In the same way that drugs have gotten significantly harder and many of them have gotten more prevalent over the years of America's drug war, if Prohibition had stuck we'd probably have worse alcohol problems.


That being said, I agree with your main point. People who spend all day trying to treat their body right, and then spend all night getting drunk, are just fighting themselves. Total waste.

Where's the best place to get /fit/ approved tees? Nice and slim fit but also half decent quality. Currently buy from Next (am Britbong) 3 for £12 and they're great size and shape but lose all shape after a few washes.

Hi guys, i got some time on my week to work out for four days and about 1 and half to two hours each day, and i want to make a training that can fill this time.

I'm thinking about a ABxABxx structure where in the A days i work my chest, back and biceps and in the B days i work legs, shoulder and triceps. I also intend to run on the threadmill for
5 km every work out day (this is very important).

What do you guys think?

According to multiple TDEE calculators, I should be around 2700 calories a day. The sticky and many other resources say you should be +-500 calories depending on bulking/cutting. But for the last 2 weeks I've been eating an average of 1700 calories a day and I feel great. I'm losing some weight and I just ignore junk food cravings and eat something healthy.

Is it possible I changed my outlook on food from pleasure, to resource? Or am I doomed for a terrible awakening where I black out for 3 weeks and wake up in a McDonald's dumpster?

It's all about the mind.
If you have the rebound effect mentality, thinking you need an instant gratification reward for what you did, then you are going to act on it.
You could be on strict diet for years and then gradually change your mentality until one day you eat McDonald's for a month, two, three and never come back.
You have to train your way of thinking as well, got to get those mind gains.

I've never seen oly lifters in the 77kg and 85kg classes not be lean. Are they just not on camera when there aren't upcoming competitions, or do they remain leam year round?

I'm gonna deload my squat by about 30% and work my way back up from there. Somewhere along the line my form got worse and recently I fucked up my lift and my back started to hurt.

Will I be making any sort of gains from the squat despite making a deload?

I just hate having to go 2 steps back ;_;
