For starters you need to take a good look at yourself. Consider it your starting point.

Are you fat, skinny, skinny fat, etc?

What is your goal body? Be realistic. If you are a skinny manlet you are not going to look like The Terminator no matter what you do.

Read the sticky. READ IT. Let that information sink in. It will help you.

Good luck. Rome wasn't built in a day and you won't change overnight either.

Experiences with chin surgery? Does it work?
I look like pic related and it's 90% of the reason why I'm depressed. I'm also a mouthbreather but I'd need a nose surgery too, I doubt fixing that now (I'm 26) would change anything, but it's in my bucket list.

Sup guys, so the Marines has openings down in Washington DC to be a body bearer and carry the casket at funeral detail. The minimum requirements to get into the school are
225 bench x10 reps
315 squat x 10 reps
135 behind the neck shoulder press x10
115 barbell curl x10 reps

That's just to get into the school, graduating requires doubling those rep counts to 20 each. The Marines use 2 less dudes to carry the casket at shoulder height and then perform basically an upright row raising it to eyeball height before lowering it down slowly into the ground. All without showing any emotion or signs of duress or fatigue.

How many dudes here got what it takes? I was thinking of trying out since making the team means spending the next 2 years basically getting paid to lift 3 hours a day and eat thousands of calories as your whole job. Tried the test out at the gym by myself and only failed the bicep curl part

Well, I have a 365 wilks score, which is pretty good in powerlifting circles, but it means that my bench max is only 110kgs (I weigh 66kgs).

I guess I'll never be a coffin bearer.
Kinda sucks being a manlet.

I'm 5'7 - 185lbs (84kg) - I want to get down to around 165lbs (75kg).
But here's my excuse as to why I can't drop this 20lbs of fat.

>family are a bad influence on my nutrition (always keeping "bad" food around)
>friends are a bad influence on my nutrition (always wanting to "bad" food)
>coworkers are a bad influence on my nutrition (always bringing in "bad" food)
>social events are a bad influence on my nutrition (always super insane high caloric foods and booze)
>gym bros are a bad influence on my nutrition (they're happy with being 15-20%+ bf built-fat and encourage lifting heavy over aesthetics)
>social media is a bad influence on my nutrition (hurr durr eating challenge)

As you can see, the world is against me and doesn't want me to become lean.

I don't know. Sometimes I feel like I am alone in this. I see lots of shredded people on here who don't seem to have a problem. People make the joke about their grandmother force-feeding them, but it feels like comes from everyone I know from every aspect of my life.

Where can I find an aesthetics crew that helps each other get lean and stay?

How do you cope with the fact that Chads like picrelated get shitloads of matches begging for sex no matter what stupid shit the Chad messages?

>inb4 "durrr, its a hookup app, of course that happens!"

Well obviously its a hookup app, but Im making the contrast with your own performance on tinder, where you get barely any matches. And you delude yourself in to thinking that "confidence" or "alphaness" matters, while Chad profiles can say that they are autistic, live with their moms, and watch anime, and still have girls begging for dick.

>inb4 "hurr, then ill get /fit/ and get da gurls!"

Well, all of /fit/ has stigmatised roids, which make bodies like picrelated easy to get. Anything approaching that body in nattyland would take fucking ages. But lets say you took the roids and got that body. You would STILL need to have the FACE. Thats the part you dont want to admit. You cant get that through lifting. The "low body fat on face will give me 8/10 aesthetics" meme is a big meme. Tennis players are endurance athletes but barely any of them have diamond cutter jaws. The face fat meme is a meme. Yes, if youre literally obese and without muscle youll improve, but not otherwise.

Hello /fit/,
I am going to start my first cut. While bulking I had a pretty high protein / fat diet with relatively low carb intake. Not because I was following a strict 'diet' but more because it was easier to hit my kcal goal with my limited appetite that way. Most of my meals consisted out of high fat meat (certain cuts of pork f.e.) + veggies.
When it comes to cutting I read that most try to hit their protein and fat goals and then fill the rest with carbs to keep their energy up. But I have the feeling that eating fat gives me more energy(when I hit a minimum amount of carbs) than carbs do.

So my question basically is, what are the disadvantages of a relatively high fat diet while on a cut.
I still hit around 75-100g carbs a day, and I eat around 2 grams of protein per KG of bodyweight (or around 0.9grams of protein per lbs of bodyweight).

Advice, experiences and general knowledge are all welcome.

Thanks

Cut fat if you want to lose fat.
C'mon man, is that so hard?
>>
>fat gives me more energy than carbs
load of bullshit

Dont know what kind of carbs you have been eating man but carbs are literally the best thing for energy and performance at anything

This board is so anti carb because the social stigma is currently ''carbs make you fat''. Which is bullshit

Look mate if you want to preserve as much as muscle cutting and have a lot of energy with no cravings; decrease the fat and eat high carb(while still maintaining a deficit). You might think how would this make me preserve more muscle? Well the answer is carbs are absolutely essential for performance; with a high carb intake you can train waaaaay more harder than any fat eating dummy. Harder training leads to increased stimulus which leads to more muscle preservation(in your case).

Just think about it. Lets say you bench 100kg for 5. Dont eat much carbs and you will probally do 3 reps, what happens after you finish your workout? Those 3 reps wont give your body the same stimulus as 5 reps would, thus you would lose muscle.

just try it

>So my question basically is, what are the disadvantages of a relatively high fat diet while on a cut.
the only downsides are cholesterol and gout. take a blood test every couple of months to check if your body is still fine. some people get huge spikes on LDL when they have a diet like this so make sure you're not one of those guys. you dont want clogged arteries from saturated animal fat.

>Won't let me sleep enough to recover normally(they go to sleep at like 11 pm and are up by 6 being loud AF, so even if I sleep at the same time as them it's not enough)

>Keep nagging me about getting a job and moving out and doing chores which further lowers my testosterone via cortisol

>Won't buy good food so I can't bulk nor cut properly

>Can't get gf because of their bullshit

Fuck man I know I'm a NEET but why do they have to be like this? I'm so jeally of other neets.

What do I do? I'm considering just taking what money I have and moving by myself to le big city and starting a new life but I have no job, no gf and no real skills.

How did /fit/bros deal with their gains goblins of a family?

Easiest way to be NEET for me was to work right after uni for 2 years and being full cocoon mode living with parents so almost all of my salary was saved.

Now I've retired and have about 4-5 years of being NEET before I do the dew. Money is lasting longer than I anticipated though, not sure how to feel about that.

Most NEETs are glorified bums, if you want it to work for you though, you gotta work for it.

Look into the WWOOF program.
Travel to an area you find interesting, do simple labor on a farm, and you get free food and shelter. Really easy way to move, have basic amenities, and find a new job in a new area. I've done it before. It's legit.

I use a body hair trimmer. If I shave my legs, then I have unsightly and irritating stubble a few days later, meaning I have to shave my legs several times a week. I am not a woman.

Trimming is better than shaving/waxing in every way possible, unless you're an Olympic swimmer or some shit and you need to have zero body hair for performance reasons.
