Guys, the only coach near me is a meme tier coach who I've been told by you guys and Reddit is bad, so now I have two options.
Do I wait for a couple years until I move and there is a good coach to where I'm moving? And in this time, do parts of the lifts and strength work but not full lifts(like pulls? Or is that too technical?)
Or do I try to teach myself and constantly post videos to here and WLforums?

Just fought with now ex-GF I guess, I know this is not an objective place to ask this question but:
Am I insane for asking her to lose weight when her BF% is in the high 20's, low 30's?
Are my standards dysmorphic? I'm in the mid-teens BF% and feel I could stand to lose another couple percentage ideally, but I feel I'm at a healthy "minimum ideal" standard.
She kept saying how I could never find someone who can cook occasionally, help clean the house and stay in shape (in shape being ideally high teens BF%, but christ low 20's doesn't seem to much).
Is it really so much to ask that someone does 20 minutes of focused exercise a day?

You can get uncured bacon. You still have to watch your sodium with either one though. It's kind of a shit food regardless when it comes to nutrition. Better to just use a small amount as a flavoring in dishes.

Hey /fit/, is there anything that feels good as farting while doing a bench press? I just came back from the gym and ripping big ones ever set. It feels awesome and happens every time. Definitely the highlight of my gym going experience.
Yeah OP I'm a girl and I'd be mortified if I ever farted in the gym... I say if I ever but there was one time it happened that I did pass gas while working out. I was on the elliptical machine and earlier that day I must have eaten something because I just felt gassy and bloated from the moment I walked into the gym. It so happened that a really muscly guy came up and started working out on the press next to me. I mean he was huge and I had nothing to do so I kept watching him lift. I was so distracted from staring at him that I totally forgot about holding in my farts and suddenly all that gas that had been building up just... came out. It was slow and silent thank god except for a tiny sqeak at the end, but holy heck, did it stink. After about 20 seconds the guy got off the machine and quickly walked away to the other side without making eye-contact with me. I'm positive he knew about my stinky gym fart. I was so embarrassed.

Has there been much study of the injury rate of weight lifters compared to other sports? Every time I get my friend in the gym he says that pretty much every barbell movement (except bench) seems dangerous and "bad for you". Do you know of any studies that could support or contradict what he feels?
