how fucked up will i get if i wear running shoes for indoor soccer?
>>38615889
probably not fucked up, indoor soccer shoes dont provide any support, the best kid on my team used to wear roshes
You'll be fine, everyone knows you'll only be pretending to be injured.
You have less control on ball direction when you pass or shoot but that's it
>Started paying to go to a gym recently
>Was working out at home for 9 months straight
>Notice litrelly no one but me and about 3 other guys squat
I dont understand, how can someone not squat and feel like they had a good workout? without squats it feels as if i didn't even workout.
At least go squat some baby weight like 60kg 5x5 for fuck sake.
normies are delusional and try to build an aesthetic body while having fuckarounditis. along with manlets, normies will never learn.
Squats don't make me feel good, they make me feel like I just got hit by a truck. So sore I can barely move, so out of breath I'm struggling to breath, heart feels like it's about to jump out of my chest. How can anyone actually enjoy that?
Fuck you squat fetishists. Go suck rippetoes dick if you like to squat that much
So now that i've got my self a decent body, how do i get into grafting girls? I have been in cocoon mode for a long time and don't know where to start because all my relation ships with people are so neutral.
/graftinggeneral/ ?
You mean like cutting off their arms and attaching them to other girls? What the fuck are you talking about? Learn what words mean.
> grafting
Is this a northerner thing?

I've decided to get fit at home because gym is expensive where I am and just seems like a scam in general. I've got some dumbells, a bar bell and some mats for the floor.
What equipment should I get? I was thinking either a bench or a squat rack. Preferably something that folds away and that isn't going to fall apart after first use. around £80 is my budget.
>>38615512
you'll need
barbell
dumbbells
bench
squat rack
this is enough to get swole desu
>>38615512
>just seems like a scam in general
Correct. You stop lifting you lose gains. Therefore you should accept that you are lifting for the rest of your life if you simply intend just to maintain gains made. Therefore homegym ownership is always more economical than gym service. Even if you have to pay for visitor sessions when you move or travel.
>>38615589
I'm going to be on a tight budget for a while, should I prioritise the bench or the equat rack first?
I usually cheap out on stuff, but I want to make sure I get equipment that actually works. Equipment like pic related just makes me uncomfortable looking at, doesn't look secure.
Why does no one talk about Ian McCarthy nowadays?
>>38615416
who?
maybe cause hes been quite inactive
Also HOW THE FUCK does he have such a qt gf?
Is a butt like this possible with just squats?
>>38615302
I doubt thats natty
I don't think squats are possible with a spine like that.
No you need injections too
So what would a routine be like if i just did the big five everyday? Literally just 3x5 of bench, squats, deadlifts, barbell rows and OHP everyday? Iunderatand recovery would be an issue, but if it was at the right volume and intensity would it be a good routine?
>>38615272
if you are a dyel, you'll see improvement no matter what really. it wouldnt be a "good" routine.
>>38615272
>the big five
On whose authority
I've been doing a routine like that (except with pull ups instead of rows) in an effort to maintain muscle while I cut and for my purposes it's been working; my lifts have more or less stayed consistent with minor improvements over a few months, I've lost about 40lbs, and my form has been developing nicely. Idk if I'm going to keep the routine when I'm back to bulking though, I have no idea what kind of results it'll provide with a surplus
Also the recovery might seem like it'll be a bitch but after a while your body adapts; what you really want to watch out for is the time required to move through a routine like that. Cardio + 5 compound lifts + accessories will end up taking 2-3hrs easily
>just ate a whole 1kg tub of cottage cheese
>>38615235
Holy sodium, batman
>>38615235
>cottage cheese
>just ate 3 eggs, 3 weet bix, some hemp seeds, and chugging a black coffee
>have to sit in class for the next 3 hours

after getting /fit/ i can't even fap to porn unless both guys have big legs
anyone else the same?
>>38615154
I have a similar issue, I can't fap to porn anymore if the girl's dick isn't 8x6
Both guys...wait what?
Honestly I struggle to fap to porn when the guys aren't both ripped, with a bit of chest hair
Men should have hair on their chests
Anyone use a food scale religiously? I ordered one but realize that it only has grams as the unit. It seems like myfitnesspal gram metric is gated by a paywall, any suggestions on calorie tracker?
>>38615074
Why do you complain about having to start using civilized metrics ?
You can use sparkpeople just have to find whatever in gs or manually put it in, and it's free.
>>38615074
>It seems like myfitnesspal gram metric is gated by a paywall
U wot
Does lifting cure oneitis?
>>38615023
Stop fucking thinking that there is only one girl you can love throughout your whole life
>>38615023
one of my relationships "cured oneitis", after we broke up i did a lot of hard drugs and such to avoid depression. did not work as intended.
last relationship kinda sucked cause of this. it's harsh to look at your girlfriend thinking that she's basic af.
>>38615035
so it cured your oneitis?
>yfw you realize no matter how much time you spend in the gym you will still be weak compared to fat people
t. 6'4 457lbs guy who doesn't exercise but can still lift more than you
How much do you lift then?
>>38614987
Bullshit, People that fat have very little muscle mass, anyone lifting for more than a few months should be able to outlift someone with those stats.
>>38614992

Go work on your "6 packs" faggots.
Come talk to me when you have enough strength to fold paper. Utter runts.
Dear fit people,
I've been doing research on alkalizing foods and here is one conclusion:
-While blood ph is always maintained, it does so by removing nutrients from other tissues in your body(bone, skin, muscle), especially if you eat more acidic foods
But there are some claims I'm having a hard time finding scientific facts on:
-That foods that are acidic at first (like lemons and other fruits) but are alkalizing because the way the body metabolizes them. I can not find a scientific reading of this process.
-And while technically there is scientific data on the ph of foods, I will see some charts stating certain foods as acidic while other charts will say the same foods will be alkaline. Even the pdf file from the FDA of the ph of foods will contradict other peoples list. Are individuals measuring them differently or what?
If anyone has insights and facts I would really like to listen. No emotions though please and thank you.
Nominal food pH doesn't have much an effect on anything except dental health because macronutrients/fiber/etc. have a much higher molecular weight than direct acid/base sources. On top of this, most papers I've read seem to suggest that post-digestion pH change is only significant to urine acidity.

>alkaline dieters claim raw sugar is good but table sugar is bad
Literal meme, diet.
>>38614903
God just follow Chemistry 102 and shut the fuck up with your bro science you dumb fuck
Post YFW gym time
There's no limit
Cmon
How long should I be in the gym? I did my first workout today, it was just 5x5 bench, 5x5 squats, and 5x5 pull-ups
I stretched before I got there, did quick warmups with just the bar, and I ended up doing 1-2 extra sets with as much weight as I could. I also did some curls and used the Lat pull down.
I walked into the gym at 6:03 After I left it was only 6:28.
I feel like this seems a bit short. Anyone care to inform me?
>>38614853
you really need to tables to remember, whether you did presses or bench presses that in your last workout?
>>38614853
That is short.
Usually you'll require rest between sets.
>>38614853
12 hours is a pretty standard time.
