I've recently started pole dancing (Male) in order to look at the girls there, however i'm really getting into it, to the point where I've booked a private lesson with the teacher to get better, and I've been told i'm good enough to compete at an international level in a month or 2. I've never really had upper body strength and this is holding me back, so /fit/, what is the best way to develop high density muscle mass?

Hi /fit/

I'm kind of nervous thinking something might be wrong.
I've recently begun training again after a period of inactivity lasting half a year, and just went ham on the weights,
especially on my chest and triceps, lifting almost heavier and more repetitions than what I used to do while I was still in top condition.

But a few days after my madchestworkout I got mad soreness and almost an inability to rotate my arm completely around my shoulder joint.

Thinking it was just DOMS I ignored it until the fourth day of DOMS (today) where I noticed my left breast is mad swollen compared to my right, though come to think of it, both my tits are much larger than they usually are, so now I'm nervous I might have fucked something up.

please advice?

It's giving me so much energy. I don't care whether it's a placebo or an actual effect of cold showers, but I feel so alive and invigorated.
I used to take ages to get out of bad, slowly dragging myself to the bathroom and even after the shower I was barely awake. Now I literally jump out of bed, get into the shower without wasting time and afterwards I start my day. The feeling afterwards is fucking great. You're instantly in a great mood. It's kind of hard to describe. When I was young, I used to play with my sister in the snow until our skin was red from the cold. Then we'd get inside and would continue playing in front of the fireplace. It's a a very similar feeling.
You also start the day with a small victory against yourself. It's not really an accomplishment, but it feels like you've done something.
I highly recommend you try it.
