I started IF a week ago since I kinda did it anyways without realizing and I'm eating 2-3 meals per day, one big meal with half the calories and then two smaller ones.
How do I make sure I get the proper vegetable intake? is there any optimal vegetable combo for those nice vitamins and minerals?

I rarely eat bread, not out of conscious thought, it just never really makes it to my plate. If I'm gonna carb load for a big lift I'll stick to pasta or a big feed of pancakes in the morning. Otherwise I just eat meat with a fuck ton of vegetables and dairy products thrown in here and there.

It seems like the more I learn about fitness, the more there are dangerous exercices. For example, I always assumed that squatting below parallel was the best and healthiest way to do squat but it turns out it actually puts a lot of strain in your knees. Same with leg presses, I thought as long as you don't lock your knees/go all the way down, you are safe but it's not.
What are some exercices or form to avoid if I want to be able to train over 50 years +?

So I've been doing Atkins for a little more than two weeks now and I've seen great results. I'm more energetic, happier, and losing weight. I started off at 270 lbs and I'm currently at 253. Running distance is the best way to lose wait lifting will tone your muscles and give you gains. Run distance and eat your greens and proteins. Friend of mine was like 220 and he ran 3 to 6 miles a day for 3-4 months and got done to like 140-150
