I went from 135 to 150 lbs in about 3-4 months, and quit working out but somehow stayed same weight, then I came back and went up to ~162 lb in 4 months and am still going, but I'm not hitting my macros as well as I could. I recon you could do it in 6-8 months give or take.

You need to be eating at a caloric deficit if you want to lose fat and eventually see abs and stuff. Also, eating a proper, balanced diet is good for your health in general (read the sticky for more).
Also, noticeable changes don't really come until about after 8 months of working out at least 3 times a week.

I've been hitting the gym over other day with a full body routine for about 2 months ago. Bench went from 95lbs to 175 lbs. OHP went from 45lbs to 140lbs.
3 days ago I was at the gym and I couldn't ohp 145. Said w/e I'll get it next time. today I went in and still couldn't ohp 145. Dropped it down to 135 for 3 sets. Also attempted bench of 180 and could barely do it for 2x5. Dropped it down to 160 and it still felt really heavy. ended up feeling like shit and leaving the gym
