Good diet/nutrition tracking software
I've been looking for tracking software of this kind. I know there are tons of mobile apps and web apps that do this, but I would prefer a windows or linux version. Do they exist? I'm pretty good at keeping track of it on my own, but I feel like it would be more helpful to track your entire diet over time, so you can see in more detail what actually happens. Some of the mobile/web apps are pretty decent, lots are pretty shitty. I guess I'd just prefer to have pc software, however, any suggestions on mobile/web apps that are good, and free, would also be greatly appreciated.
lol that pic is epic

Myfitnesspal works well enough for me. Could also try fatsecret but their UI didn't grab me.

So /fit/, You eat right, exercise a shit ton, but whats that ONE thing that you know you shouldn't do, but do anyway?
pic related, not that bad though, only a pack like every week or two and only when i'm with friends.
oh I also have the nasty habit of getting blackout drunk a few times a month, always socially though.
Eat entire tubs of peanut butter every few days or so
Alcohol. It's the only thing that calms me and makes me feel good, so I'll drink even when I'm alone and when I start I can't stop. It hasn't fucked up my life yet, so I'm just not gonna worry about it for now

I dont sleep regular hours.
Weighted calf raises are the most useless exercise in history. Theyre not even a real exercise
Your calf is a muscle that moves your bodyweight a million times a day
3x10 on a calf raise machine or holding weights is going to do fuck all
Youre better off doing very high rep bodyweight raises
>>38725827
Then add more weight.
Or can you calf raise more than you deadlift?
I can only calf raise 3pl8 on the smith machine, and my calves respond really well
>>38725827
I do them single legged with 45 lbs 3X12 and they feel like they are gonna fall off when I am done.
>>38725827
you're right, 3x10 won't do shit
I do them on the smith machine, start at 1pl8 and just keep adding weight, set after set with short rests i don't even count. maybe like 4 or 5 sets in total. and do the sets to failure, until my calves are burning
they've grown
HAPPENING
It's over boyos, Piana has left humanity behind and now has skin cancer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeGmV8nPXCc&feature=youtu.be
this tumor is getting BIGGER BY THE DAY GODDAMMIT
NOOOOOOOOOO
I'll honestly miss the guy. He always seemed like such a cool guy.
>>38725955
According to the video Piana thinks it's nothing serious.
"So they told me I had cancer and shit so we cut that shit out yo it ain't no problem."
He's probably full of shit and it's going to be found later and he'll die.
I'll have to start going to the gym early in the morning, around 6AM bc uni schedule is kinda a pain in the butt. So, /fit/, how do you deal with waking up and going to the gym still sleepy? Do you have breakfast? I've heard it's kinda packed around that time, not sure tho. Also any early gym related discussion is welcomed.
I'd have a small snack for breakfast, and maybe a cup of coffee. A little cardio when you reach the gym to wake you up. Works for me bruh
I bring my coffee with me to the gym and sip in between sets
Sometimes I'll read some articles or catch up on current events. Actually real comfy.
>6 am is "early in the morning"
Nigga I wish I could sleep that late.
What's /fit/s opinion on this routine? I'm going to be switching to it soon. What's the /red pill/regarding this?
>>38725647
Interested in hearing some responses as well.
Bump
Great for cardio/cutting, not as effective for building mass. PPL is still the GOAT.
>>38726011
I see a lot of people on fit pushing PPL. Is there a specific PPL program you're referring to or just the general scheme?
Hey /fit/
Very new, barely ever used fit.
Recently my friend took his life, in his suicide note he detailed that he wanted me to succeed etc..
One thing he wanted me to do was get fit, lose weight. I just can't find the motivation though.
No job, no money, I'm currently extremely depressed and can't get any energy to do anything.
When I run or do anything strenuous I get extremely sick, nauseous, and agitated. I just feel terrible for doing nothing, and I don't know how to start getting that motivation I need.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
Find your TDEE and eat 500 calories less than your maintenance.
I found that going to a gym and doing cardio gave me energy I haven't had in years. I now wake up early in the day and actually have the will and energy to do shit in the day. Also it helped with my depression and anxiety, the sick feeling basically reduced to nothing afterwards. If you can find a way, I'd get a gym membership. It'll sound harsh, but don't do it for your friend who basically gave up, do it for yourself. You'll never succeed otherwise
>>38725640
Gotta wait for another suicidal friend to tell you to read the fucking sticky
What is a good routine for aesthetics and where can i find the appropriate diet for it as well?
My stats:
Bench: 190x5
Ohp:120x5
Squat: 255x5
Deadlift: 260x5
Rows: 190x5
Chins: bodyweight x 6
bump please
>>38725626
aesthetics are literally just genetics and low bodyfat for naturals.
inject test into your ass and die
What do you pay monthly for your gym?
Also, if you feel like writing about it, why do you lift where you do?
I'm shopping around with free trials and specials currently and feeling like a gym vagrant.
>>38725624
9k a year
Its my uni gym and i like the convenieince of working out there.
>gym opens at 6am
>workout from 6-8am
>go home take shower, go to class at 10
maximum comfy
(I am OP) I started lifting at the university gym, but it's like 45 minutes from home and I don't like making the journey more than I have to. Spent like 50 days at a local athletic club on free trial+special and liked that it had 8 cages, but it was 50/mo and fifteen minutes away. Currently on trial at local small gym that's like 5 min away and 30/mo idk if I'll stay or not.
i pay nothing, i lift on base. i lift there because it is convenient, free, and it fuels my anger.
How do you go from this
to this?
Its bulking season :v

Her head looks so damn tiny.
How do I get manly vascular forearms?
Also, if I grow a beard, I would probably look like this guy, right? I am scared of looking like a nu-male.
>>38725343
>I would probably look like this guy, right? I am scared of looking like a nu-male.
How would we know without a reference pic?
Post pics anone
>>38725352
>>38725343
Lose weight, lift.
My forearms are pretty vascular for the first time ever now at 25 and I haven't lifted for almost a year because I suck like that but it was all cutting and doing shit like farmers walks that got my vascularity started. Doesn't seem to go away either, unless you obscure it with fat.
