I am 23 and my little brother is 14. I have a feeling that I have failed and wasn't a good role model. Basically, I always was a beta cuck loser failure. I indirectly introduced him to video games and he is now a younger version of me, although smarter at school

How do you estimate your muscle gains?

For example, if I have one dumbbell and 15 pounds in weight, what sort of gains could I expect from using it one hour per day on my weak left arm?
I realize that's featherweight stuff by your standards, but I'd never get started, otherwise.

Do you need to pass certain level of intensity to force your muscle to grow, or is it a matter of average stresses to the muscle slowly accumulating?

Newfag here (inb4 b& i read the sticky before posting)

Anyone have any good workout/diet I can follow as a poorfag on foodstamps with a herniated disc? Bending over/lifting is really risky atm thanks to it, cant see a physical therapist for a while. Goal is to drop at least 10 pounds within the next like... 2 months. Currently 6'5" 334 lbs.

You don't need to lose 100lbs in 4 months lol, I'm just saying that should be a long term goal. You'll probably lose 10lbs the first week of keto, I lost 14lbs in 2 weeks and I'm a bit shorter and lighter than you (started 285 6'3). A lot of it is water weight that you lose at first, and you look like you're holding a huge amount of water.

Walking is good but focus on your diet. It's really the issue here.

This is a compound exercise, it could be that your biceps, deltoids, and other back muscles are less developed than your lats, preventing you from feeling stress there
