My grips have been failing me on diddlys the past 2 weeks. I don't really want to start using straps because I'm barely past 2 plates (4 weeks into the program).
I warmed up,and went up to 100kg (started with bar,1 plate,1.5 plates,then 2 plates). And my grip keeps failing me after 3 reps,regardless of the weight. I dropped the weight by 10kg failed. Another 10kg,plus hook grip. Nope.
Someone told me it was because of sweat,and that I needed chalk... but idk man.

How shredded can you get using a calorific deficit before you start losing insane amounts of muscle?
You can get to around 6% bf without doing drugs and you'll lose around 30-40% of current muscle mass, if you start losing mass around 18% BF.
once you get under ~8% bf you will lose a lot of muscle mass
Oh, and the faster you lose weight the faster you lose muscle mass too. If you want to, for example, reach 10% BF without losing more than 20% of muscle mass, you have to do it gradually, making your body used to keeping the muscles at that size to be able to keep up with your lifts while you slowly lose fat.

Hey /fit/, my wife was a bigger girl when I met her, but over the past three years her weight has gotten out of control. Every time I see her eating cheese off a block in front of the TV I want to ask her why and slap it out of her face.
We don't even have sex anymore because I can't hold her legs up that long anymore. Plus the weight gain has also lowered her hygiene level and I just don't want to be in that.

I run a 5k for 30 minutes on a treadmill the other day and burned a muffin, which is ~400 calories.

I got a 120kg squat from SS. It's still going up but I can only add weight twice a week. Should I switch my squats over to Texas method?
congrats on doing SS correctly. you'll want to eventually transition to TM when everything begins to stall but there's no need to while you're still getting stronger at your current rate. i think rip suggested somewhere that you'd add a light day for squats (essentially the wednesday on TM)

If it's stinging, be sure to lay off of lifting in that area.
Otherwise go buy some tennis balls. Put one on the ground and lay on top of it so that it is next to your rotator cuff, apply a bit of pressure and roll it around. If it is ever stinging, stop it is not supposed to be painful, but a economical way of easing tension.

Stretch your adductors and hip flexors and strengthen you lower partof six pack do alpt of revers crunches , leg raisea with your stomach vacumed in. Don let your rectus abdominis buldge out durinf any ab excercise. Easy.
