hey guys, we've heard about "G.allon O.f M.ilk A D.ay" (G.O.M.A.D) for short, but, what about 'a chicken a day keeps the gains goblin away?'

you can get one of these delicious, whole rottisserie chickens from pretty much any supermarket or walmart for 5-6 bucks.

WHY NOT JUST EAT ONE OF THOSE EVERY SINGLE DAY?

and i know you know how to eat it. you've all done it, or i hope you have.

by the time you get home with that shit, it's cool enough to tear apart with your hands and eat barehanded, like a barbarian. barbarians are juicy right?

it sounds perfect. i can't think of a downside to it.

every day, you work out hard, as if you were killing bears or Carthaginians. and every day, you consume one(1) entire bird.

doesn't that just feel... right? it feels right to me.

it's like 120 grams of protein and 1200 calories. you can cut, while eating a whole animal every day. take a multivitamin, get that first sip in, and dude, just blast. blast the shit out of everything.

it feels so right. it's like nutritional enlightenment.

i'm going to do this. OWCAD. one whole chicken a day.

Is there a way to fall asleep quickly without pills?

It probably takes about 1-2 hours for me to fall asleep. I know a girl who literally will fall asleep if she's warm and comfortable. How do I achieve it /fit/?

Here's my bedtime routine:

>drink water w/ allergy/skin pills
>brush teeth
>lay down and try to sleep

I only drink caffeine before 12 PM, and I always go to bed at about 9 PM.

So eat some some raw honey before bed. Also look into Glycine, its an amino acid that will relax you. I also sometimes take Valarine Root, but only once a week.


You need to be in your bed ONLY for sleeping, dont lay around in it to watch TV or whatever. Also make sure your room is comfortable and noise free. Avoid bright light and being active 3 hours prior to bed time.

I think I accidentally bullied a kid at the gym.

Some fat highschooler came up to me last night and asked me for a spot. He looked like an absolute day 1 beginner. We went over to his bench and when I saw that he only had 20 pounds loaded up on each side I couldn't help but snort out a laugh. It was automatic, I barely even realized I did it. He seemed disparaged.

He finished his set and I resumed working out. A minute later I saw him getting ready to do another set so I walked over and asked "Hey bud, you need another spot?" in the friendliest manner I could. I might have overdone the friendliness to the point where it became patronizing. He stammered out a "no" and left shortly after.

Anyway he seemed like the type of guy to frequent this board, so if you read this kid, I apologize, I meant no offense.

5x5 is horrible for beginners, and you will be prone to injuries. Once weight gets heavy you will have an incredibly hard time keeping it up.

3x5 is superior in every way.

I used to do 5x5 and switched to 3x5 months ago and was never happier.

What would happen if I did a ~300 calorie a day melon diet? Can anything bad happen to me from only consuming carbs for a week? Is it possible to lose FAT and not just water and waste?

within 1-3 days depending on your lifting, you'll begin to lose muscle

by day 4 your hormones will be so severely fucked, you'll develop all sorts of issues (balding, acne, organ failure, massive insulin spikes, heart palpitations etc etc)

by day 6, assuming you're still alive, you would have lost anywhere from 3-8 lbs of fat (depends on TDEE), excluding muscle and water weight
