Hey guys, not really a /fit/ question but for lack of a health board... I was putting minoxidil 5% on my head earlier (yeah yeah hairlet) and accidentally dropped it in the sink under running water. A bit flowed in and now the solution is noticeably watered down when I put it on my head, there's also more in the bottle. I estimate I used about 1/6th of 60ml (180fl oz) and now replaced that with water. Since it's very insoluble in water, I think I might have ruined the lot. Any chemists here that could help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Well it's a spray can, not unlike a can of shaving foam, and what comes out is also a foam (gotta shake it first though) so I don't really know how I'd go about that. It's also rather expensive and gets less active with "age" so that's why the 3month supply (1can or 180ml) is the max amount they sell.
The problem is also that the results are noticeable after 3-6 months so I don'teven know if it works for me yet. If I was sure it didn't I'd just throw it out and if I was sure it did I'd cut my losses and buy a new one immediately but as it is I'm kinda torn.

Hello /fit/ fat poor fuck here trying to turn his life around here.

I have read the sticky. I have shifted my diet to lean protein [chicken, turkey, tuna, tilapia], brown rice and black beans mixed with lots of steamed veggies.

So being a poor fuck brings me to my question. If you only had 170-200$ USD a month to spend on food what would you get?

[I don't do government hand outs so I only have what I can earn working.]

Ok /fit/ what the hell is going on with me?

As some back story, earlier this year when I first started lifting I had to stop because I had this soreness and pain from lifting so much in the circled part of my neck and side of my head. One time when I was benching I had this really sharp burst of pain that was one of the most painful thing I felt on the side of my head, which lasted for a few days. There was also this soreness on the side of my neck accompanied with it.

As of latley, I can feel that pain and soreness creeping back in the same spot on the side of my neck up through the side of my head, as I have started lifting again 2 months ago. I have decided to take a week off of the gym, and start going maybe like 3-4 times a week instead of like 5-6. The thing that really triggers this pain (and what originally triggered the sharp terrible bursts I have felt) was when I was pushing with my upper body (bench and chest/shoulder press machines). Why is this happening? I almost feel like it's because sometimes when I life my muscles get to weak and possibly compensate with these ones?
