I had this problem. You can either get smaller plates and increase by only 1 or 2 pounds or switch up your workout

I did reps of 6,4,3,3,4,6. Where 6 reps is 5 pounds less than your regular working weight, 4 reps was your regular working weight, and 3 reps was 5-10 pounds more than your working weight. Do that for a week or two and then try your working weight +5 pounds again.

Seems like you're fatiguing quite quickly.

I would drop your 5 rep weight and try to get 10 reps.... and do 3 sets.....

Your problem is not pure strength ; it's strength over time. You gotta push it up from the bottom.... not try to go heavier. That will come over time.

Do starter strength or strong lifts first.
Its more important to increase your strength and do the main lifts than to look good when you're a beginner.
