Ive been having pain in my back for a while now and its ruined me. I used to be able to squat 3 plate and deadlift 4, but now this pain has ruined me. I can barely squat a plate without pain same with deadlifting, all my lifts went down because i couldnt workout because of the pain. Ive been to physios and doctors and they all say the same, I just pulled a muscle. It feels like its a lot more though, I get random spasms and standing up after sitting down or a while hurts like hell.
Pleas help.

Due to depression, I have had a sedentary lifestyle the past few years. Desk job, come home, drink beer on the couch while playing video games.
I'm coming out of the depression, and want to break out of my sedentary lifestyle without injuring myself. I'm 6'3, about 170.
I eat decently. Limited fast food, soda, etc. Drink green tea and water, mostly (other then my weekend beer).
How do you suggest I start a workout routine? I've been doing stretches and going on 30 minute walks.
I'm more interested in cardio/tone. Also, I'm on beta blockers (for anxiety, not cardio issues), so getting my heart rate up isn't very possible unless during the weekend when I don't normally take them.

I had bad depression for a good chunk of my life.
The thing that helped me was to get up and do something that would make me feel like I accomplished something or just think about anything else.
And vigorous exercise or simple activity.
A simple, the simplest routine that basically anyone can do is a basic calisthenics stretching and aerobics/walking workout.
3x Pushups
3x Crunches or leg lifts or whatever stomach workout you want
3x Squats
3x Bridges
3x Chinups or pullups
All of the above are done till near failure
If you don't like that then I urge you to look up other simple home calisthenic workouts.
