Hey /fit/ this is fitness related so I probably won't get an answer but here it goes
Just started starting strength a little over a month ago and I was trying to mess around with symmetric strength to set some long term goals for myself but I realized my weight would probably be lower once I achieve those goals so I had to adjust accordingly. But when I started looking up what my maximum LBM is I noticed
1) There is a large discrepancy in the different models/equations. Which is the best in /fit/'s opinion?
2) I'm 210 lbs with 26% bf which puts me at about 155 lbs LBM. However, a lot of the models/equations I've seen for maximum LBM put me (5' 10" btw) at around 160 lbs. Are these equations way off? Am I calculating correctly?

In reality the only way to accurately measure this is a DXA scan, the 5lbs discrepancy with the online calculators is not something you should be worried about. The fact you're carrying 50lbs of fat on you at 5'10" is.

I'm female. I'm 5'4" and 180 pounds. So on Saturday I ate two lean cuisine meals and 100 calories of popcorn. I tried to do the same on Sunday but I just binged. I just want to lose the weight. I can't eat in moderation. I should just starve or live on i e pops because the taste of food while restricting makes me binge. I know all about healthy eating and TDEE, but it's too hard. I don't know what to do.

I'm in a good mood tonight so I'm going to be nice. Eat baked chicken and other lean proteins, eat salad with very little low cal dressing, eat fruits and vegetables, drink lots and lots of water, and drink lots of black coffee. Count your calories religiously. Buy a food scale and weigh your portions. Maybe do some cardio if you can do it without eating like a crazy person afterwards.
If you do these things it should be easy. If you do these things and it still is not easy than I don't know how to help you.
