do you guys think you should work out when sick?
or take time off and focus on getting better before returning?
Rest and get healthy
Take time off to get better. And once you get back take a week to get into your heavy weights and relative high volume again. Don't go straight back to that pr attemp.
>>39392931
almost every time I've done so, I've ended up getting worse and thus postponed my future gainz even more than was necessary.
So besides pinning more tren how can I get over a girl? She was the only girl ive talked to really in months and now she never wants to talk to me again.
Currently at 250/day and im about to go insane
Get inside another one
move on ASAP. start talking up tinder girls or literally anyone else. distraction is the most effective form of pain relief that isn't an opioid

Don't have tinder because all my pics are just awkward selfies.
Ended up messaging 20 random girls on fb an conversations went no fucking where. Why is life so fucking hard.

i fucked a high test woman last week and since then my eyes have only been concentrated at women with a little bit of chub and thick asses and thick ass legs
skinny women are completely out of the picture because i dont even acknowledge them anymore
i just want to worship a high test queen sheeba
Do I really need to go crazy with the bulking and eat 3500-4000 calories a day when I do the starting strength program? Can't I just eat what I normally eat and just drink some more milk and protein powder? 1g protein for every lbs of bodyweight, isn't that what the sticky say? Isn't that enough?
>>39392707
Before some memelord says GOMAD, don't.
Calculate your TDEE and aim between 200 and 500 Kcal of surplus. 1g of protein for every lbs of bw is more than enough for a noob, yes.
>>39392707
the more the better
>>39392733
Thanks. Does the starting strength program count as Light Exercise, Moderate Exercise or Heavy?
What is this mode called?

Now that the UFC got rid of their piracy department it should be easy to find an online Stream of Saturday night's fight.
I used to train with Eddie when he was still an underdog back at the Philly Fight Factory. I was still in high school and a novice in the sport so he probably doesn't even remember me.
I'm rooting for McGregor though.
What's /fit/s opinion?
Who will win tonight?
>McG
>Thompson
>JJ
>Weidman
>Tate
>Khabib
>Stephens
Safest bet: JJ by decision
Connor
Wonderboy
JJ
>be me
>autistic spaghetti lord
>18, have made one friend in my life
>he's my best and only friend but I'm maybe third or fourth on his list
>mutually enjoy spending time with another
>whether or not he realizes it, our time together meant a whole fucking lot to me
>friends for about four years
About two weeks ago he ghosted me, won't respond to calls, texts, or messages in vidya. The cortisol from stress and sleep deprivations is killing my gains... pls help
tl;dr: My one and only friend left me, losing sleep and gains
t-thanks /fit/
I think in this case. God would forgive you for killing yourself.
Be blessed... F@ggot!!

>24 years old
>desk monkey
>hate my life.
>eat like shit. no gains since college.
>no gf
how do I turn it around, fit? looking for any advice on relationships, life, hobbies, maybe a career switch.
>>39392566
Do the opposite of what you're doing now, fucking retard
>>39392566
If you work out you'll fix 2, maybe even 3 of those things. Also, being desk monkey is like the 3rd best possible outcome short of trust fund kid and business owner.
>>39392566
you should go in a gym and do fitness, take some dumbells and break yourself with 100+100 in bench pressx you'll lose weights
for a gf there are a lot of sites on the net, you can surf the internet and found a lot fo very goof and well structured sitesx, searching you can found out a lot of interesting things
a very intelligents alternative is to go in a mcdonald and stay there all your restant day of your life, you'll got 30$ a month and you'll happy
So I'm 5"10 and 160 lbs
I don't want to become fat, can you guys guide me and become fit? Like a day by day guide would do I just need to follow directions on what to practice each day. And I'kk post results.

Hey /fit/
It's saturday night, what a perfect time to discuss alcohol!
What are your alcohol habits? Weekly? Monthly? Less than that?
Everybody is aware that for OPTIMAL muscle growth alcohol should be avoided at all costs, but for us at an amateur level, I feel like you have to live a little bit...
How much does alcohol ACTUALLY hurt you? I've heard stuff like if you binge drink 1 day a week, that alcohol will lower your test production the entire week. But then again, you see collage guys who party 3/4 times a week who are still pretty big, so is it actually as bad as some people say?
Pros of drinking
>Social gains, meet new people, possibly new opportunities
>Chances of getting laid are higher when alcohol is in the picture
>Getting mired by drunk sloots, when they're drunk they actually say what they think
Cons of drinking
>Feel like shit the day after, no workout
>If you're cutting, say goodbye to your macros, 1g alcohol = 7 calories
>Lowered test production for a period after drinking = rip gains
>Expensive (depending on where you live)
Share your experiences /fit/
I don't drink anymore except for at big parties. I realized I was just doing it to maker boring nights more interesting, and it was a fucking horrible habit. So I'll do it at Halloween or NYE or a birthday or whatever but not during normal time.
Also as a steadfast rule I refuse to drink 24 hours after lifting.
>>39392499
Last time I got seriously drunk was bronycon 2k16, so it's been a while lads
>>39392512
I came to a similar realization myself, I used to be drinking atleast fri/sat every week, some weeks even thurs, but after a while it got boring and now I try to keep it to 2/3 times a month.
Something that I've heard is that if you work out on the day, and binge drink that same night, the next day when your body is hungover it will focus on getting the excess alcohol out of your body instead of building muscle. Is this broscience or actually legit?
What kind of workout do you need to do to get arms like these?
Photoshop and angle until failure

>Recently started going to the gym
>I am 24 and live at home
>No friends at work, no friends from school, no social life
>When I started at the gym my dad was really proud of me
>He seems to think that I will make friends at the gym
>Every time I get back he asks me 'did you talk to anyone today son?'
>always tell him no
>explain it is improper etiquette to bother people during a workout and people do their stuff, and get out
>he won't listen
>insists it is 'nonsense' and 'you can make friends at the gym son, they want to get big too, you have something in common'
>keeps pestering me
>think he is angry at me for not making friends at the gym
>he has started writing down lists of 'conversation starters' for me to use at the gym
>puts them into a lunchbox along with a cheese sandwich which he gives to me before I leave
>they are always shit like
>'Hey buddy. How did you lift that weight? Would you like to gift me a mate?' and 'Hey, would you like to discuss these dumbbells over some yum beers?'
>he always asks if I tried them
>lie and tell him yes, they didn't work
>now he is trying to find a gym with more 'social' people
>keeps pressuring me to oin a chain gym where people walk around texting and not working
/fit/, what the fuck do I do? You aren't even meant to talk at the gym right?
