Long story short, I've had a real shit year. Tons of surgery, I have scars all over my abdomen now. Before this year, I had been working out casually for about four years and had reached my peak body performance. Alas, my illness has taken it all away from me. God giveth, and he taketh away. It's all for the best, it turns out my sickness had been throttling my gains anyway.
Anyway, I'm complete skeletor mode now. I'm trying to ease back into working out - I'm not ready to hit the gym because it'd be pointless in my state. I need to employ body exercises to get back up to a good minimum.
Here's what I got right now:
>4 mile walk
>max pushups/8 every minute for 60 minutes
>max airsquats/8 every minute for 60 minutes
>TV Plank: one minute, try to go as long as I can over. My current post-sickness PR is 1 minute and ten seconds
What should I add to this? I can't do pullups yet, they strain my insides/scars too much at the moment (but not TV ironically). I'm looking for some relatively rudimentary body-weight based workouts. I work out three times a week.

So I want to work on my lung capacity and running ability for a couple reasons, I wanna increase and maintain my lung capacity/strength and beat back asthma a bit, and prove to myself that I could meet and exceed at least the aerobic standards of the Air Force's PFT.
I was thinking of running my way to these standards, but i don't wanna mess up my knees long term since i don't plan on ramping down. I'm thinking most of the cardio is done with cycling on bike or stationary, and elliptical, and i do a mile or two a week, gradually increasing distance to condition muscles involved in running? Would that work?

Spend time working on form. That means at LEAST 10 minutes of planks every day, while you think about how your form is shit, and you should not run or you will fuck up your knees.
That means doing high knees, butt kicks, and mileage increases earned - which means measured and planned.
if you want to run better, run more. Would you rather worry about your knees, or be able to run the hardrock 100?
Buy an incentive spirometer. Just use that every day ontop of working out.

About 2 weeks ago or so, I began to feel this pain in my right knee and the tendon on its right side when squatting. Sometimes, It gets so bad it makes me audibly say "ouch". This is really fucking with my squats. I have a heavy leg day tomorrow and I'm scared.
I feel like If I just go to the doctor, he'll tell me to stop lifting for a while. What do?
Does anyone have any alternatives? I don't wanna fuck my legs up tomorrow. What exercises could I do? Shall I just do hypertrophy instead at a really low weight/really high reps? I'm doing SS btw.

I cook whole chickens (that are about to expire, cheaper), strip them and freeze the meat in 300 g packages. Not the best flavour, but shit's cheap, yo.
