What ive never understood about /fit/ is that a lot of you guys lift for the sole purpose to get laid. Why such a small goal?

At the end of the day wouldn't you much rather do you and focus on becoming the dream version of yourself rather than just having someone that exclusively wants you around just for your body?

Plus most women don't want a man that makes it all about them. They want someone ALPHA which means they know what they want and they work to get what they want. Wouldn't you rather have your dream job, body, mind, power, influence to be what you want in this life AND have someone that digs you for all that you are? Rather than just someone that likes having you around for appearance reasons, even if she hates most of what makes you who you are?

I started going to the gym, I'm 5,7 180 pounds. I don't wanna look huge muscle tank person, I just want to look good with some muscle on me. Any tips? Should I incorporate cardio into my daily routine?

Hello everyone I'm the suicidal anon #56567 who posted a week back.

The main advice was to stop eating so much. Today I ate a normal lunch -one large serving of noodles and chicken.(Usually I eat three)

How do I stop binge-eating, /fit/?

Hey guys. So I've been dieting for a long time now. But any time I have a really bad day and I'm feeling emotional and sad and depressed I go and binge eat - chinese food, pizza, sandwiches, etc.

So these past 4 days or so, I've been eating way more unhealthy than usual. I was so afraid to look at the scale, because I was so sure that I had gained around 10lbs and ruined my progress of the last few weeks. But I went on the scale, and I think I only gained 2. So not really a big deal.

But the thing is that I constantly think I'm gaining more weight, even when I have like a single cheat meal I dread going on the scale and I get scared and I'm like "oh god no i'm gaining weight no no no" and I get afraid about fitting into my clothes

Is this unhealthy?

idk it really depends on how you feel tbqh. if gaining weight affects your relationships then found a different way to combat stress maybe mediation. or force yourself to only have healthy food around you.
