I'm trying to gain weight if that's important, but I read that 20g of protein is the perfect amount for post workout, but if milk is already high in protein, wouldn't adding whey protein to milk make me exceed the 20g limit, thus damaging the progress of the workout?

But exceeding the optimal amount of protein does not damage the progress. It's just that '20g' is the most your body can absorb in one go. If you consume more than that, you won't get any more benefit but it won't do any harm either.
And if you're trying to bulk it's obviously better to consume more calories - ie. from the milk.
Is it worth it to lift if all I can afford to eat is eggs, rice, pasta and potatoes? I live in canada so buying good gains food is out of the question on my budget

Don't get me wrong, I love exercise. I lead a pretty active lifestyle.
I go on long hikes (2 days+) and do a lot of trail running, cycling about twice a week and go ocean swimming a few times a month, with a lot of diving.
How can I make lifting more fun? I just find it like swimming in a pool, you exercise but it kinda sterile.
Is it true you start enjoying the routine after a while?

I used to be able to fuck for about two hours at a time.
I smoked 1-3 cigs 5 days a week for 1.5 years.
I can fuck 30 mins before my cardio gets tired. I did manage to fuck for 1.5 hours recently- but I vomited.
Just some perspective.
Don't try to justify smoking. It's a waste of money, time, and dignity.
It kills your lungs so on exercices that requires breathing well, you won't be able to give the maximum of yourself.
If you don't do exercices that requires a good cardio, then no.
What the absolute heck even is this.
I've been losing weight for 11 months now and I've managed to get down from 330 to 205. I know I really messed up and I didn't lift or exercise at all and now I'm left with no muscle. For the past month I've started goin to the gym consistently but don't really have the time to sit an do a full workout ( about 30 minutes)
I'm pretty sure I'd still be considered fat because I have basically no muscle so I'm not sure if I should keep cutting, or eat around maintenance, or even do a slight bulk.
I try to aim around 1500-2000 cals a day and 150 g of protein.

I'd suggest eating at matinence and lifting. If you don't have time slowly build a home gym, in the meantime start with body weight exercise, you can get some noon gains while you search Craigslist for some cheap iron.
