Basically scored a date with a chick who is really into yoga from my yoga class that I have been trying...its basically all she does and swears up and down about it. Im more into the lifting, running, cycling type stuff. How can I mostly adjust? Im concerned because I am usually at the gym and sometimes would drag my ex (then gf) to the gym with me and she would get into it as well. This one seems pretty in her way regarding the yoga. Any idea on how I can bring us to a mutual point regarding exercise and eating habits if this takes off..

I'm down. Its more than that though. Her whole lifestyle is based on holistic living and what not. We are going to vegan spot which was in the last post that got deleted. Shes 100 percent invested in that and you know how lifting is with the eating meat and whatnot. The only thing I can do is try right now. I don't see her going insane when she figured out I eat meat. Hell I can dig a vegan diet once in a while but I need more due to how much I burn a day.

What the fuck man. Yoga combines great with lifting. It's good for mobility, good for recovery and good for numerous reasons. Just do yoga with her, you will get better gainzzz that way.

Does /fit/ still do 'Health'?

I got some kind of blockage in my right ear. It feels and sounds muffled like I got an assload of ear wax in there.

Heard hydrogen peroxide is good for melting it out. Can anyone confirm this works or some better alternative? Q-tips only seems to make it worse and hurt like hell.

Also, what kind of workout clothes do you wear in winter? I always find it hard to exercise in cold weather, for example going for a jog makes you sweat and with the cold air you're definitely sick the next day.

I had decent muscles before I went full skinny mode. It actually gave me decent results with girls but I lacked confidence because I still felt like I was fat.

Why does my back hurt?

I think I fucked it up by deadlifting, but at the same time, my back only feels relieved after deadlifting. My lower back is killing me and I'm not sure whether to continue deadlifting or let my body rest more.

hang from a pullup bar before and especially after deadlifts. idk if it fixes what you're talking about but it feels good.

I know these feels. I fell during a training exercise, 12 foot drop onto my feet and my back hurt for months.

I recommend just taking Tylenol and doing stretches everyday, yoga too, and stay away from chiropractors (unless they help you stretch your back)

What sort of mattress do you sleep on? I pulled a muscle doing clean and press a couple years back. The injury flared up again recently for no reason, but a few nights on a fancy memory foam mattress fixed me up. I'm about to buy one for myself. I don't want to drop 3 grand on a tempurpedic, but dammed if it didn't work.

I barely get 4 hours a day

Its pretty important but everyone needs different amounts.

If I get more than 8 hours I feel like shit and depressed for the rest of the day and have to drink coffee all day to function. 7 hours is the sweet spot for me, I feel alert focused and happy with it.

I was at 360 at my heaviest, I have dropped 40. I work in construction, shit ain't easy.

I been layed off for a month now and have been hitting cardio hard, since thats a big part of construction.

I would usually do

>10 mins of bike

How fucked are my knees? Should I keep going or not?

cardio is much more than your legs. obviously diet is super important so track calories. you should try and do cardio workouts that use multiple body motions. similair to bulking, workout out all of the body is faster than targeting

You can completely forgo cardio till you've dropped some weight.

If you really want to get healthier then do calisthenics on top of that.
