Drawn into the backdrop here
You can fade, you can fade away
Bright lights on a starless night
It's so groovy, it's outta sight
Burn a hole in the dying day
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
Looking at life through a loaded gun
But it makes no difference CAUSE IT KNOCKS YOU OFF YOUR FEET
Anyone else find it difficult to be motivated?
How do you overcome it? Just by routine?
I having difficulty returning after some time off due to an injury (6 months)
you may feel like your forcing yourself for a while but once it's ingrained as a habbit it will feel worse not to go.
6 months off is pretty harsh. Just gotta get back on that horse, I guess. I found it difficult to always get to the gym after a day of work, but now I'm unemployed so I go 6 days a week.

So I just start small and work my way up?
thanks anons.
hey /fit/
I suffer from really low appetite. I just don't get hungry, I'll get halfway through the day before realising that I haven't eaten anything. On top of this, when I do eat, I have to force down every bite. I struggle to eat a whole meal.
I think I've found a possible solution though. My plan is to IV nutrients to myself like they do in hospitals for coma patients. I could set it up in the morning and let it drip all day. (I stay at my computer almost all day). Even if I couldn't get all my calories from this it would at least help push me into a surplus, without having me feel like vomiting all day from the food.
Thoughts? Anyone here have experience with IV drips? Where would I even buy them / is it possible to make it myself? How expensive would it be?

>(I stay at my computer almost all day).
>I suffer from really low appetite
These things are related and you're retarded for not realizing it
when you start forcing yourself to eat, youll start craving food more.
start with just a 500 cal shake every day on top of what you eat
>>39517532
I'm a programmer though, I can't really avoid it. And being active means I just use up more energy.
>>39517533
A shake sounds like a good idea. Any recipes that don't involve milk so I can sip them all day?
Has anyone here ever tried sarms
Does his shit really work?Or is just som bullshit

If you finally do meet your soulmate and start a family will you willingly give up the /fit/ lifestyle and embrace having a dadbod in order to spend time parenting /fit/?
>>39517440
Giving up fitness for some girl? lol no
>>39517440
Part of being a good parent is raising your kids to be fit and healthy if not athletic in some way. Never give in to dadbod if you have kids, show them the /fit/izen life. No gear though.
>>39517440
No, I'll just go /homegym/
Kettlebell training is superior to any other kind of weight training and is sufficient alone to have godlike body
Why arent you still doing Kettlebell training, anons?
Fuck off, retard.
>>39517098
You money will find out that you cant actually lift and work with any real weight, wasting all your time on isolated machines and weight excercizes
Not hardcore enougth for real weight?
>>39517077
Only time I'm using kettlebells is when I'm doing weighted pullups/dips.
Other than that, illegal.
Is it weird to have a power rack in your basement?
Considering switching to homegym masterrace for financial and timesaving reasons, but I don't have any space for a power rack in my small flat.
>>39517052
yes wtf dude
>>39517054
stop kidding me man my gains are on the line here
>>39517052
You only work your anterior delts when you squat in a basement
I'm 18, finishing school next year. Planning to study computer science. Will I lose my gains?
>>39516872

Shits going well bros. What have you done to improve your lot in life recently? If you're still NEET and walking around unkempt the best advice I can offer is to start making some cash, overhaul your look, start socialising. It's basically 180'd my entire life in the space of a month or so. Highly recommended.
>>39517011
>start socialising
If you can "just" start socializing you never had any trouble to do so in the first place.
>>39517117
Is it that hard to just go out to a bar with a few friends. Even just get a job and you'll find some colleagues to go with.
Then again, with a defeatist attitude like that maybe you just aren't meant to have friends, a life, happiness etc.
>>39517117
No. I have a hard time socialising due to very strong trust issues and the fact that I actually enjoy being alone, but since I'm not a weak bitch I put myself into social situations and actually talk to people.
Good morning /fit/!
What are you eating for breakfast today?
>pancakes made with only 1:2 whey scoop:egg ratio
>pear
>peanut butter
>glass of milk
>2 slices of bread with ham and cheese
> cup of tea
>200mg Caffeine
>25mg Ephedrine
>80mg Aspirin
>500mg DNP
>10mg Yohimbe
>2 Multivitamins
>2 scoops ON whey with egg white mixed in
>C4 Pre workout
Heading to the gym in 10 minutes.
>breakfast at 2am
>just ate 3 whole jars of peanut butter
end me
This reminds me of the time I ate an entire jar of apple sauce and had the worst stomach pains of my life. Maybe drink some water. Idk man good luck
>>39516696
ate two bowls of pasta whilst on my bulk. such an inefficient food. please kill me.
>>39516703
I once ate an entire fucking jar of pickle chutney
What are some good high proton snack foods, particularly vegetarian ones
Peanuts duh
I really like quest bars. 21g protein + 12g fiber.
>>39516663
Saitan. 100g have 75g (soy)protein but also a ton of sodium
Who /injured/ here? Apparently we're all always hurt on this board.
List your injuries then reply to other people with your own experiences and recovery stories
>patellar tendonitis
>costochondritis
>blown rotator from benching
I've had these for over a year now and I'm thinking of going full dumbbell mode for all pressing lifts. Do I say goodbye to my gains?
rippetoe recommends DB bench over BB bench anyway so that's fine. if a strength who has a crush on barbells recommends DBs, do it.
you might lose something in stopping OHP, but maybe i'm wrong, i've never seriously done standing DB OHP.
>>39516656
>he fell for the dips meme
>>39516669
>rippetoe recommends DB bench over BB bench anyway so that's fine
he does not and anecdotally gyms don't have the dumbell range to sensibly program DB bench
Guys with like x2 bodyweight bench, what's your story? How do I do that?
bench 3 or 4 times a week, do full body routines if you're natty.
get your OHP up and your bench wil skyrocket, huge crossover.
source: weigh 180lb at 6'0 and 1RM is 365
I bench everyday. Ive been gaining about 60 pounds per year. It just takes patience. Definitely not diet or routine cause i eat ~70g protein on average and just bench everyday.
I thought the gains train was gonna end but 3weeks ago i slipped on another 20 lbs after 13month stall
Im 5'9 210 bench 465
throw barbell bench out the window and switch over to dumbbell
having to stabilize that weight when its heavy as fuck and keeping your form in check will fucking rip your muscle fibers to shit. the soreness i feel after a session of barbell benching is blown out of the fucking water by a few sets of dumbbell pressing
das jus me tho
