So my lifts are going fine and I'm gaining muscle, but one thing that's been bugging me is that I don't have much stamina.

During outdoor activities (hiking, some basic sports) and sex, I find that I get tired too easily. And I'm not even fat.

So I decided I could get into some cardio for that.

But I can't find fucking anything like.. quantitative? Factual? Statistical? for how to do cardio for stamina. All the info I can find about cardio is just for fat women looking to lose weight.

Do you guys know anything?

I especially don't want to it ruin my gains.

Literally anything that increases heart rate will improve stamina. Unless you're talking sexual stamina in which case buy a fleshlight specifically for endurance. They feel better than a real one so you can last longer with intercourse

It just bothers me there's so much info about maximizing benefits from weighlifting with different routines, exercises, sets/reps, etc, but there's like fuck all for cardio.

Also I really don't want to do a ton of it for no reason because I don't want to sacrifice any gains.

Hope you're enjoying your freezing cold early morning runs. Winter is when true runners are made.

I'm doing a 10 miler in January, having not raced more than 10k for several years. Hoping to get at least under 1 hour, hopefully under 58. Recent 5k best is 18:12.

I can only run 3 or maybe 4 times a week and I lift twice a week too. Doable? Any suggestions for training?

A month ago: I'm 5'8'' - weighing about 209lbs.

I could only bench 75lbs I was really weak. But kept at it, keeping a journal of the weight I used on each exercise. I drank OP Whey Protein every day every 30 minutes before working out.

Today: I benched 145lbs!

I wonder when I'll plateau. When did you guys start noticing smaller increases in weight?

I'm currently adding weight when I can do 5x5 of the weight without feeling really exhausted. Not really an exact science lol.

I myself started benching at 55lbs and reached 88lbs this weekend. I weight 132lbs btw.

I already have some signs of nice pecs and will be soon average in regards of strength for my height and weight.

Once I am there, the journey actually really starts

SS program only last 3 Days on the week, my gym membership let me train 5.

Week 1: Mon Weds Fri : SQ BP OHP DL like normal

Sun: BP/OHP + Chins or whatever upper body accessory you want

Week 2:
Mon: SQ, DL.
Tues: OHP/BP, Chins,
Weds SQ DL,
Thursday OHP/BP,
Sat SQ,BP/OHP, DL

Basically adding in an extra OHP/BP session every other week, SS doesn't have that much upper body volume so it'll be fine.

You could run SS every other day rather than 3 times a week but squatting every other day really ends up killing you. That extra day of recovery a week helps.

It is if you do it properly. First two three weeks might be easy, but once you get a little heavy it's really tough. You're basically supposed to be setting PR's every session which is really difficult. Especially difficult for the squats because you gotta do that three times a week. You have to give it your all every session, and you have to eat a shitload, and sleep really well.

You do get pretty strong really quick

I'm 31 and just had my first son.

I dropped out of college and didn't do shit for 5 3 years. I started working again at 22.

I dropped out because I had terrible anxiety around people, weighed 42kg at that age and basically didn't look like a normal male.

How do I make sure my kid doesn't end up like me, and enjoys sports and effort?

Parenting is just leading by example. It's never about what you say, but what you do. And in this case it's going to be what you do for the 18 years he lives with you. He will absorb it all like a sponge. Take some of the good, some of the bad, take some from the mother and other family/friends, and amalgamate his own personality.

So if you want him to play sports, you need to play sports. Don't pressure him into it, just play sports around him and genuinely enjoy it. He will naturally want to join in.
