Even a little help, that starter strength is felt right away and you can feel a firmer chest and you'll start losing your insecurities about your man tits. I recently started running 1.5 mile runs to get my body used to the idea.
I want to run a half marathon this coming May, but that means putting some work in now so I can start seriously training come spring.
I have never run in winter, and being in Manitoba, Canada, I need to prep for -20C temperatures.
Any advice from fellow runners? How do I keep fit and not die in this climate?

Hey fit, I'm pretty much built like pic related. Layer of fat over my abs, but you can kind see where the block would be.
I'm kind of new to dating though, just got my own house.
It was hard to date at all when I lived at home.
Really I just live lifting, doing cardio and eating as much as I feel like - but I get in a lot of fiber, beans, vegetables etc... don't really worry about watching protein cyz I'm not cutting.
My stats 5'11", about 220, I don't jiggle, my lats & shoulders are wider than my waist. Just smooth without much definition.
So, should I just start talking to grils each day in public as I go about my business? Or do I need to diet down to see my abs first?
