So, I'm 6'3" and weigh about 65 kilos.
That's massively under the appropriate weight, or so I've been told.

Qtpa2t girlfriend jokes about not being able to lift her for over 10 seconds.
Hurts my ego.
Now I want to build up my stick figure of a body.
But, sadly, can't go to fitness centers.

There's this free for all gym at the park, however.
Been going there the last 3 days, but there's a lack of proper guidance.
I've been doing random shit with weights/push ups/crunches/chin ups/dips and whatnot.
Out of nowhere today, a former gymer boy tells me that I should stick to a diet and free hand stuff and not use weights, or I'd completely fuck up my body structure.
Is he right?

My goal right now is to build up my strength as much as possible while avoiding looking like a bouncer.

Guide me, /fit/. Any reliable links to how I should workout would be appreciated.

Eat 2000 calories on top of GOMAD. Recommend a lot of lean meat. Try Steak or chicken, or make them a sandwich for your carbs. Download MyFitnessPal, and count your macros. Focus on compound movements for lifting, but that should be covered in the workout plan. PB&Js are good for extra cals.

nothing wrong with bodyweight, but if your goal is strength then barbell is the most efficient way. find a beginner strength program like SS/SL and eat at a 500 calorie surplus and start from there

I finally think I can consider myself /fit/, I enlisted in the National Guard for a 6 year contract. FeelsGoodMan. The next step is to get a qt 3.14 Korean girlfriend. I think I am making it boys. Only negative in my life now is that the transmission in my car went out yesterday.

I'm literally considering cutting out whey. I eat meat and feel that it is stupid to get my protein in with ALL animal products. Dairy products also make me feel like shit and whey is literally all I consume. I was thinking about those vega plant based ones as well.

I'm doing SS (not GOMAD). I've failed my squats for the third time and is time to deload I guess. My question is about the timing. I've been doing this program for about 14 weeks. My squat started at 95lbs and I'm stuck at 285 for 3x3. My other lifts are also reaching the point where I'll have to deload and work back up. At 14 weeks, is this where I should be? Am I doing this right? When can I expect to stop making linear progression?

Typically, 3-9 months. It varies widely. Unless you started doing something differently recently, you've probably hit the end of linear progression.

The Texas Method is the standard recommendation for people who finished SS.

Texas Method is fucking shit, so don't do that.
