I'd rather pay for training in a gym than getting a lot of equipment in my apartment. I really don't have the space for it. I have some adjustable dumbbells with weights up to 30 kgs, but it's just so much more effective training with barbells.

hello /fit/ im 5'9 151 lbs and i want to get into lifting. i run around 4-5 times a week and go 3 miles in around 20 minutes and follow that up with 1600 meters on the rowing machine and thats all i really do at the gym.

i want to start seriously working out but idk what my routine should be like. heres what im thinking

A days-
3 mile run
1 mile rowing machine
bench
press
pullups
dips

B days-
3 mile run
1 mile rowing machine
deadlift
squat
leg press

how do i know how many reps and sets i need to do?

If I had to guess, I'd say some sort of arrytmia such as SVT maybe? Or maybe extra heart beats? I'd cut out coffee and energy drinks, and obviously any kind of other supplement you take. Sleep eight hours a night and have a good sleeping rhythm. Maybe a 24 hours EKG?

Hey /fit, I'm gonna enter uni soon.s The food there is not great, and I wanna lose body fat (currently +-14%, beer to get to 10%)

Which tricep exercises do you think put the least amount of tension on the elbow

It's all about leverages, all of them will put tension on the elbow and if you have tendonitis, only do light, high rep while you recover.

If you're talking about injury prevention, I found close grip bench and diamond pushups to be pretty safe.
Also triceps pushdowns, not abruptly stopping at 90 degrees so there's less torque.

go through the progression. if your gym has ab straps, start out with them. you need to get at least 10 hanging knee raises(knee to chest) before you do full hanging leg raises.

I was the same way when i started. Once I improved my pullups in a row and got proficient with normal leg up raises it became much easier to stabilize
