Do you guys remove the yolks from your eggs? It seems that after a few Google searches, Yolks have all the fat and cholesterol, but it also has some of the protein and all of the vitamins of an egg. That means egg whites have no fat or cholesterol with some protein, but also no vitamins.

I try to do to do overhead press very often, but am having trouble getting my deltoids bigger.
I have also tried French press but I think that targets triceps more

they're good if you want to guarantee depth and work the glutes and hamstrigs, but people have a tendency to ego lift with it by launching themselves off the box with momentum which removes all benefits. They help very much with my deadlift but they don't bring up my free space squat very much.

I'm just starting out, and to be fair, I feel like in my current state I'd not handle the gym very well; I even think I'd not get much from a gym subscription at this stage.
I was thinking about starting my strength training with just my body weight, because that always seems to give me enough of a challenge, but most programs (including the one I was thinking about following), use barbells and dumbbells extensively.
Two questions: am I wrong? If not, what good programs can I follow using just my body weight?

Yes you are wrong. Beginners get huge gains very fast from going to the gym. They will not be nearly as fast if you use bodyweight only.
Nobody gets big and muscular using bodyweight only (gymnasts use weight training, and train every day for hours anyway)
Bodyweight training is not even for gaining muscle, its for getting better at bodyweight movements, which in itself is a very valid goal and I think you should pursue it in some degree anyway alongside gym work.
Read the sticky and pick a basic strength workout from it, go do that at the gym and you will make some fast noob gains.

But a friend recently told me he meditates before working out, and that the state of mindfulness can be extended to lifting weights.
