Have to work out at local Y (thats the real prob)

What to do if your parents are gains goblins?

Why should I do stronglifts 5x5 or SS instead of jumping straight into something like PHUL or PPL? I understand progressive overload and such already.

/fit/ I need some advice. I have read the sticky before any of you start fucking saying that. To give a bit of context, I am 6'2" and weight about 255 pounds. I want to cut weight down to about 200 pounds and then start working out to convert fat into muscle down to maybe 190 pounds. The sticky says to just lift weights in general to lose weight but I always thought that cardio was the best way to lose fat. I mean some people I've been talking to on here also just told me to do cardio while others told me to lift. Which is it? I'm trying to lose a mass amount of fat before I start lifting. Your advice would be appreciated.

I fucked up anons.

This qt3.14 and I were eye fucking each other for at least 3 seconds at the gym on monday.

Today I had 2 chances to chat her up but I froze and acted aloof bc I have no idea why.

I could have simply asked her name or asked about her tattoo showing on her shoulder that I had just noticed.

Any words of encouragement or advice on chatting up girls at the gym. I have always been opposed to it since my general feeling is women are much more self conscious at the gym and the idea of other DYEL bro's overhearing me chatting up a girl make me self conscious as well. But at this rate I will creep her out long before we are on a first name basis.
