Today when I incline benched I was feeling it a lot in my right shoulder. I usually never feel this, but now my right shoulder feels like it took the majority of the force. First time I've had a problem. Was it my form or something else?

I'm getting fairly confused about nutrititon.

I get the general mantras, but a lot of the ins and outs, seem to be lost on me. One example might be reading that the 1g per lb of lean bodyweight mantra is untrue, another confusing things is where proteins get denatured, the benefits of eating vegetables over taking multivit pills, the inefficacy of said pills?

I'm wondering if there is a more comprehensive source I can read, that will me to fully understand my dietary choices.

Anyway yea, its essentially a bunch of bodyweight shit. You start at easy shit like pullups and learning handstands and shit. Then you work towards learning harder variations of shit, or doing shit on rings or adding weight. Also learning new movements like planches or iron crosses or w/e

How do you make your child stay fit as the girl on the image? As you know, parents tend to let their children go today, and they become fat and get picked on because of it. How to prevent this and keep the child in a fit condition as OP girl?

Of course, I'm not a parent, but I take a look around in society and I see fat kids all the time. There's more of them than fit kids.

Sup /fit/, I am in a bad spot and I need advice on what my next move should be.

To start, I am a 24 year old male currently serving in the Air National Guard. I have been in for 3 years and about to cross train into a different job. I was unable to get a full time job out on base and have been working a security job the last 10 months. The job started off great with a lot of overtime and I was working out 5-6 nights a week with a friend of mine. Last 4 months, the hours kept going up and down and because of rent/electric/etc, I could not afford going to the gym anymore (closest gym is 30 minutes away).

Problem is the gym is 30 minutes away but McDonalds is literally down the street, easily a 5 minute walk. My friend got a girlfriend and stopped being the driver to the gym as well. I have been applying to other jobs as well since aside from my 1 weekend a month, I would only get 16 hours a month with this security job. I did start doing body weight routines at home but doing them alone destroyed my motivation to keep going. I have recently been heavily considering smoking but I do not foresee myself starting.

What should the first step be in recovering? My coworkers at both jobs just tell me to find another job but my small town does not have much, even fast food jobs are small. Last time I had issues right after training my supervisors just laughed at it and asked why I was having problems so I do not want to go to them with this.

Also, any recommendations on optimal at home workouts? Cardio is not available during the winter unless I want to run in 5 degree weather.
