I don't have much money /fit/

Are there some real workouts I can do in my home with a small investment? Do they work?

Or maybe I just to go to the gym to get results?

Yea, you can put your legs behind you, or hold them in front of you like an "L" to engage more core

So what is /fit/'s opinion on the best ab exercise ever?
Want to work obliques more? Change direction
Want more resistance? Use a barbell with some 45s
Still too easy? Do it from a standing position

Why aren't you using an ab wheel, /fit/

I've been torturing myself doing this for bit over a month now, 3-4 times each week, now doing 6-7 sets of 5 reps, probably shit form but its getting better and my plank time is improving about 5 secs each week. (i only use plank for testing now)

My theory is alcohol is actually thermogenic, because it requires energy to be metabolized. And dont tell me no bullshit 7 calories per a gram. Because calories are measured by burning them, it doesnt mean we can digest it, for example gasoline also has similar calories, What do you think?

stronglifts is telling me to do some srs dyel tier lifts at the start. what do /fit?

when i was in first year i was mildly not /dyel (pulled 150kg and squacked 110kg for reps). i'm almost done my degree and i'm a chubby dyel again so i wanna do stronglifts again. but it's telling me to squat 75lbs on my first day. i don't want to like a total faggot.

The point is to accumulate volume and increase work capacity.

Your 6 RM is usually 85% of your real max so if youre doing a 6 rep set and its baby weight easy you need to really push up your 1RM

You should feel like dying after a real set of 6 for example.

Hi guys. Fatty here. I work a sit down job and not sure the best way to lean up. I started doing different grip pull downs and rows. Doing about a 140 or 150 pull down close grip.

Should I just give this up and run? If I do progressively heavier weights and eat better, can I just do this all with weights? I'm 120lbs and want to be more like 175.

I have lordosis and the left side of my ribcage is sticking out a bit because of prolonged laying in a stupid position. I used to watch tv a lot before and managed to fuck up my ribs.
Are these kinds of things fixable and if yes, what are some good excercises?

Yes OP, I had the same thing my bottom left rib stuck out. Buy a corset and wear that to bed, wear it just tight enough to hug your ribcage but not uncomfortable. After a few weeks it will stay in place. You can also sleep on the floor on your stomach if that is not uncomfortable for you.

If nothing works you can always get surgery to have the bottom rib removed but really it shouldn't come to this.
