PPL is much more efficient if you ask me, still pretty much a bro split at the core except you incorporate shoulders (anterior and lateral) on the push workout and (posterior) on the pull
I've been browsing /fit/ for a while now, but I never got myself around to post anything. So I'm a 5'7 (manlet..i know..)dating a 5'7 gal and I have been trying to help her and myself go to the gym to lose weight. I'm pretty overweight myself a bit, but she is heavier than I am. We have been going to the gym for about 3 weeks now, at least 4 days per week...I'm around 90 kg and she's around 10 more kg than I am. we have been starting with cardio with me running 5 miles and she going on elliptical for 3 miles and we finish both about the same time around 40 min. How should we go about losing weight and start accelerating our weightloss and muscle building?
Ps. Do you think either of us are salvagable in becoming 'mirin body?

Girlfriend and I have been going to the gym for a while, she's gotten really into it. Was pretty skinny when we first started, now she is much more muscular to the point of seeing way too much ab muscles and arm veins.
She really enjoys lifting, but also understands where I'm coming from. She said she could gain 15 lbs so that the muscles wouldn't be sticking out. Would this be a good idea? Would she end up thicc and have curves due to the muscle underneath, or something else?

Couldn't tell you since that's a genetics thing. She could gain a bunch of fat and have it go straight to her belly and arms, or it could go to her tits and ass, or it could go all over the place. The muscle underneath may make the appearance of her ass better, and her vascularity would more than likely go away, but whether or not she becomes thicc is a wait and see thing unless she's been fat before
