Those aren't spinal erectors that you circled. That's the lower trapezius. It's sometimes called the trap 3. There should be quite a few exercises online for that part of the muscle

Best leave them alone, erector spinae muscles maintain your spinal alignment and play a pretty big role in posture.
Focus on good posture and they'll naturally be worked, no need to stress them out.

Anyone with a biochem background or just a well informed individual explain to me how detrimental NSAID's are to gains?
I have scoliosis and the use of ibruprofen up to 800mg/dose significantly helps with pain/function, I was wondering if the increase in my ability to lift harder due to increased functionality could outweigh the costs on protein repair/synthesis? Do I need to suffer to reach my potential?
Any insights and experiences greatly appreciated.

actually that article says that the 50% was on rodent models and that the evidence for humans is conflicting and that in one study prolonged use actually increased muscle gains... confusing.
