for you
are you a twink?
Are there any accessories to reduce wrist ganglion cyst pain/vulnerability? I want to get into lifting but it's a real struggle (can't consistently do anything that requires a bent wrist).
i got that too and i still lift, don't be a pussy. It will fade overtime
and then come back again
>>39942430
It's been sitting there for 3 years, I can barely use my wrist at all for 2 weeks every 2-3 months (depending on how much I use it when it doesn't hurt)
At this point I'm trying to live with it as best as I can but it kinda limits the physical activities I can do
>>39942456
If its that bad just get it excised
Its like a 1 hour outpatient procedure
Anyone got experience doing GOMAD? 4th day, shits are frequent, soft and so pale they're almost white. Also feeling like I've got a hangover and always thirsty yet I'm drinking 8 pints of milk a day. When will it end /fit/ when will it end.
>>39942024
you're an idiot my man
You know you're supposed to eat food as well right
>>39942038
Why so?
Is this too much /fit? I do feel pride for having stretch marks, but somehow i think this is way to much.
Opinions?
>>39941945
I stopped caring about mine after awhile. There's nothing you can do about them, nothing really works to help "get rid" of them. They just fade over time. They're just a reminder for me about how fat I used to be.
>Not wanting tiger stripes
>>39941945
Have the exact same problem familia, the only way to avoid getting them is to increase your collagen synthesis, you can do this by taking things like HGH or Anavar but if you are natty all you can do is take stuff like vitamin C and those collagen supplements made from gelatin that might not even do anything.
>be me
>training for legion etrangere
>doing a fuck load of running, bodyweight exercises, and weightlifting
>suddenly develop dull ache in the lower back and hip area
>no ache while standing, only while sitting and laying on my back (whilist laying on my back it feel more like tightness in the hips)
How do I remedy this /fit/? I've improved my fitness so far and I've almost reached my goals and then this shit happens. I've started to stretch more to no slight avail. What could be the problem?
>>39941839
Skip the weightlifting
Bodyweight n run is all you need
>>39941839
why FFL? you need a new identity or do you already have a few years in the army, can't progress any further, and want something else on your resume to be a private merc?
>>39941874
also FAMAS gives me a boner, most aesthetic rifle next to the FAL.
how to not loose gainz during your diet?
Ist eating enough protons and exercising hard enough to preserve them?
Im fucking scared m8´s
>>39941826
eat 2g/kg bodyweight of protein and do a 300-400 kcal deficit
Muscle loss when cutting is a meme unless you don't lift or eat a huge deficit.
People think water and glycogen loss is muscle loss.
>>39941826
Lift heavy as you can to minimize strength loss. And you can always do a refeed every couple weeks.
so I used to post actively here about 5 years ago (was a fail tripfag, if you are old, avocado+eggs reminds you who i am)
i stopped lifting about 3 years go and turned my focus and discipline on career (/biz/) and politics (/pol/). since then, i've got my graduate degree and a consulting career.
now the money is great, Trump is elected, and it's about time i clean up my /fit/ game and settle down with a girl.
however, i've become a fat useless slob who doesn't even lift. so I need to go back to square 1.
i did SS like 7 years ago and had maintained solid lifts out to 3 years ago. I have no clue how bad my lifts are, but the only physical activity i've done is riding bicycle everywhere.
should I just be re-starting SS at this point? I am years behind on what's what but my plan is just to get my eating clean and do SS again and stick to the compounds.
>>39941780
>self admitted former tripfag
>trying to get us to remember who you are just shows how still starved for attention you are
>couldn't balance career with fitness
>got fat
You're a fucking traitor to this board go to reddit or bodybuilding.com
FUCKING LEAVE
no one gives a shit about your avocado and eggs
>>39941904
just wondering if there was a good reboot-program for ppl who failed as bad as i did on aextended break?
Read the sticky
So long story short, I have a gf who has been genetically blessed(no detective). I started getting her into fitness and lifting, that's a feat in itself when transforming a normie. So I get her into lifting, and as a motivator I decide to take her to the LA Fit Expo in DTLA. BIG MISTAKE. She's afraid to step into a gym now as she doesn't want those unaesthetic overdeveloped quads these fitness chicks have. She's petite, that shit would not look nice. She wants a bigger butt, and a smaller waist, but IDK how to work a butt without getting the legs big. What do?
tldr; how to train gf's ass without her legs getting bigger? Training style make a difference?
She's a 32 DDD, size 28 waist, and a size 2. But she has ass, dem Armenian/Russian genes.
>>39941689
It's hardly possible for a woman to become unaesthetic by natty lifting alone, she'd see it coming years ahead and could safely deload. There's a higher risk she'd become an unaestheticly fat landwhale by not lifting
>>39941689
lowbar
>>39941712
Thanks bro.
>>39941723
Her shoulder range of mobility is shite
Lets talk veganism, /fit/.
I know it has health benefits like lower chances of certain diseases and shit, but is it really worth eating literally just plants?
pic unrelated
before this thread is ruined by faggots and memers, yes veganism is fine.
I have been doing it for about a year. I asked a (non-vegan) doctor beforehand and his only advice was to watch protein intake and take a multivitamin. Never felt better 2bh.
>>39941561
Lets not. There is no scientific proof it helps which isnt baseless, bias or just plain wrong.
/thread
>>39941577
lifts/pics? + time lifting and if you noticed any difference in gains
How do people run for cardio?
It is the most boring, monotonmous and tedious thing ever. It is constant effort for 20-30 mins.
Lifting is 10x more fun. You do loads of difference exercises, get a sickening pump and most of your time is spent resting in between sets.
Is still do running. I do 3-5km a week. Any more than that though is just painful and boring.
It is meditative. You clear your mind and bring your attention within, and then you transcend this mortal plane
>>39941501
That's why he finds it boring, there's nothing in his mind to turn his attention to.
>>39941470
>sickening
M'lord is that you
>tfw female friend tells you girls only lust after you because of your muscles
she sounds jel
>>39941414
She wants you to fuck her silly
>>39941414
reply with: yeah, so?
ITT we discuss our shoulder routine.
What exercises work, which don't. Volume/ frequency etc.
I am currently hitting 3 times a week.
Monday: heavy push press
Wednesday: volume DB press
Friday: OHP
presses don't do shit
high rep side laterals only
>>39941380
How high? 10+
>>39941380
What about upright rows senpai?
>tfw lanklet
>tfw working out for 1 month
>tfw still skinny
I feel like giving up. I look in the mirror and realise this shit is going to take YEARS.
Is there a point when gains start to happen quicker?
Can't take being a crippled, skinnyfat lanklet any damn more
Women probably care more about someones height than their muscles. Stop being so sad
>>39941227
Not when you are a pencil necked, elongated freak with bad posture
Height only counts if you are built like a rugby player
I'm 6'1, but considering getting torso reduction surgery so that I can obtain manlet mode
Hello /fit/
I hope you could help me with this dilemma.
I'm 180cm and 76 kg.
I can freaking do a single pushup. I have fat in my belly.
Is there anyway for me to get fit using only body-weight training ?
And for pushups I tried many progressions and all I could do is knee pushups. If I try to increase the amount of pushups my wrists hurt and I tried ignoring the pain which made me stop working out for a while.
I'm sorry if my writing is a mess. It's because I'm so frustrated with the situation I'm in
>>39941053
>single push-up
I don't mean to be rude but how did you let it reach this point? How did you survive in life having never had to push against anything with any kind of force? What do you do when you need to get up off the floor?? Don't take this as me insulting you, I had a friend who couldn't do a single push up and it just amazes me that a person can reach such a point
For body weight exercises I think a book called convict conditioning is alright, saw it posted by a lot of body weight fags here Years back. Also go read the sticky you fucker, read it then go to QTDDTOT; questions that don't deserve their own thread. Post anything that isn't clear to you there and pray someone with half a brain responds though if you have half a brain yourself the sticky should make perfect sense on its own. Read that and branch out from there.
Godspeed Spider-Man
>>39941080
Well It's always the same cycle. I progress through pushup progression. wrists hurts like shit stop, life gets busy . I don't know how I survived. I'm currently doing my PhD so that gives you an idea.
>>39941105
Go read the sticky, get a gym membership and start with the basics. Body weight is fine if you're a poorfag but you're doing your phd, use your uni gym or whatever the fuck, there is no substitute for proper weights. Read the sticky, learn it inside and out and when you emerge from it several days from now you'll be a changed man who will see the error of his ways
I practice MMA for 7 years now, boxing in parallel for 6 years, I could.
Not to count strength training at the gym for 4 years, 6 ft 1 1/2 for 189 lbs.
I have an insane speed, reflexes similar to my speed. I just have to wait for him to charge me, dodge his attacks, and throw good punches to his head. I won't stop, and at the smallest mistake he does, the gorilla is finished.
You'll always have virgins from here thinking that it's impossible. First, nothing is impossible with will, my friends, and 2) that's not with your weak ass bodies that you'll do anything.
Any man with a minimum of training can beat a gorilla with a knife anyway. With bare hands, that is not necessarily more complicated, it just requires technical skills.
>>39941049
film it for us
ciao
Is it proper form to have your feet that wide in a regular one arm push up?
>>39941124
No , and the lifted feet make it even easier , it act as a counterweight
