Hello /fit/
I have recently started training.
After the first month I went down from 20% bf to 17%
Also I added 2kg of muscle to my muscle mass. My weight stayed the same.
Now, after the second month I almost returned to the same spot whete I started.
On the second month I was not keeping my diet 100% (NYE, my bday etc).
How can I make sure I follow the diet and especially get enough protein.
Also, can someone explain why I should take protein powder (getting protein without it is hard and quite expensive). On one hand, I want to take it to build muscle mass and not to worry about daily protein (I hit at least 2 cans of tuna besides other protein). On the other hand, I feel like it is cheating and unhealthy.

i've been going to the gym at night for close to 5 years. It's impossible for me to fall asleep right after hitting the gym and I usually stay up until 2-3AM before going to bed.
In the past I was still going to university so staying up was not an issue because I could get up late to go to classes or take naps after a few short hours of classes but ever since I graduated and started working a year ago my life has been a complete wreck. I get through everyday like a zombie because I couldn't sleep right after gymming at night. I've tried going to the gym early in the morning but I can't get anything done during those hours.
Any night gym-goers have the same issue falling asleep after hitting the gym with ways to deal with it?

Ok /fit/, can I get an honest answer. I have been seeing an older lady physio for back problems. First couple of sessions she commented a few times on my muscles and said stuff like "wow, you must play rugby?" I thought it was kind of weird but no biggie. Then she went on to tell me "you should get a job in a restaurant because you look good". I'm not overly sensitive at all but it made me feel uncomfortable. Am I being a bitch or was it inappropriate behaviour?

There's this sort of motivational pasta about squats feeling like the weight of the world resting on your shoulders and conquering it or something. It's kinda like that.
Yeah you figured out the meme anon, this is why everyone hates leg day. You never hear people complain about skipping arm day. Hitting arms and chest is fun. Hitting legs fucking sucks.
Reason being is it takes a shitload of energy to stress those muscles, and honestly putting a couple hundred pounds on your back is no small feat. Your CNS does not like being pushed in that way.

been doing ss for about 3 months, coming along well with 120kg squat, 140kg dl etc.
Only thing is i'm looking for a hypertrophy workout to do on a fourth day to get my arms up abit. I feel like they're just falling behind a bit aesthetically
is there a traditional arm hypertrophy program i could check out other than just doing curls/pushdowns?

Just took a qt 8/10 out for dinner and some other fun stuff. I'm not full autismo so I was able to carry a decent conversation all night, had her laughing and having fun.
However I severely fail at escalating and progressing in a romantic way. Looking back at the night it comes off more as a good time with a friend rather than a date.

im 6'1 225 and squat 450 for reps

For a recovering fat fuck, my bmr is 1800-2000 cals/day, is a 1000-1200 calorie diet (Intermittent fasting) going to ruin my metabolism?

your TDEE should be 3k+ then if you're active(ie go to the gym and do your cardio).
don't be a retarded shit and cut at 1800+ minimum, otherwise your muscles will waste away which will further rape your metabolism and you'll look like a disgusting pot bellied piece of shit with 10 inch arms and saggy tits.
Also you'll feel miserable from starving yourself.
eat 1500 and do cardio
If you think you can maintain it forever, then it should be okay.
If 2 weeks of 1000 calories is too hard, bump it up a bit.
As long as you remain under your TDEE, you'll be making progress.
Don't try to do too much too fast.
Skinny guys can wear this and no problem, but I've notice all the beta people get butthurt when a /fit/ guy wears this. Is this my chance to finally be the douchebag I've worked so hard for last 3 years to be?
