Teacher here.

I use scaffolding techniques with all of my students. When they progress in one area, it is time to move to the next skill. It doesn't matter if it's addition to ten, then going onto subtraction, then into adding three separate integers. Whatever it may be, there isn't much use in fine tuning something that is already working well. Imagine your car just came from being fixed, then you all of a sudden want to do something else to it for no real reason other than to do it. It doesn't work.

Whatever you progress on to, be it taking a stand up comedy class, taking up a skill that requires fine motor skill development over gross motor skills [visual arts, guitar, black smithing, whatever it is], you need to progress. Don't ever stop progressing ever. Don't be satisfied. Find what works for you; a hobby that, in and of itself, you can enjoy. Go from there. Keep on moving forward, and trying new things.

Seeking professional help, be they an occupational therapist, life skills coach, or a marriage counselor, are never the end goal. Ever. OT's jobs are to get people doing other things, and they too scaffold.

Know yourself, first. What are your strengths and limitations? Are the weaknesses preventing you from doing something you desire? Fix it. Can your strengths be used to do something new, that might be fulfilling?

My advice, in a word, is get better at something that brings you a better quality of life, whatever it is. And keep getting better.

Is there any way I can stop flinching at everything?

I'm tall, athlentic and people say I'm intimidating, but I'm always the first to flinch when there's a sudden loud noise nearby or when friends pretend to be charging at me. I feel that in a real fight I'd immediately lose coordination and get beaten.

What can I do to stop being so chickenshit? I want nerves of steel but I'm not sure how to get it.

I'm 21 and 5'9 (175.2). I had an X-ray recently and my doctor told me my growth plates are still open. Doc said I got an inch or two left to grow. How can I assure I get those inches? I hear weighted hangs can extend the growth period by a few years but I'm skeptical of that. Also, I have an 8 inch dick and want to extend that to 10 before my growth ends if possible.

What is a good 5/3/1 template for a mix of strength and hypertrophy?

5/3/1 Bench - OHP assistance
5/3/1 Squat - Deadlift assistance
5/3/1 OHP - Bench assistance
5/3/1 Dead - Squat assistance

First set last on all, maybe not deadlift depending on how heavy you do your last set. Add whatever smaller accessories you want at the end for fun/bodybuilding/imbalance. I don't like 5x10 dead so I do 5x5 pause. I do 5x10 bench and squat, or 5x5 pause depending on what I need/want. Rest about 1 minute between sets. Also do some core assistance if you don't do it already. I started using the ab wheel and I feel much better when squatting and deadlifting. It really makes a difference. "Compounds is enough for abs" is a meme.

Do two cycles before each deload.

Assistance work can be done per cycle as followed:

5x10 @ 50%
5x10 @ 55%
5x10 @ 60%
5x5 @ 70%
5x5 @ 75%
5x3 @ 80%
5x1 @ 90%

Gives some variety which I personally like

I don't know which accessories to choose exactly that is my problem. I am currently doing pic related ( sometimes additional dips and chin ups at end depending on energy). I quite like it and will do it until I can't progress linearly ( I am nearing intermediate numbers so it is getting difficult to increase each time)

In the future I'll need something like 5/3/1 which mostly focuses on main lifts+accessories or another program that is no more than 4 days
