Also just take one session to deload then work back up with proper form it's better to do that than to tempt fate by ego lifting

For context, he's talking about plates not being "on point" and that the weight may vary, slightly, from what's on the actual plate. This can cause missed lifts.

How the hell does the fat guy with pipe-cleaner arms beat the certified trainer to the gym? Especially one they work at? I try not to be a dickhead in these types of situations and completely understand that things happen, but how are you a trainer and late multiple times meeting with a client? I can do the workouts perfectly fine once I have a solid routine planned out, but that's why I made these appointments in the first place (to make a scheduled workout and nutrition plan).

Any of these coaches are not going to teach you anything worth having. They will probably work in bad habits for you. Learn good technique by watching knowledgeable people do them. A proper coach costs money and is not worth it imo, you can learn so much on the internet today. Unless you're too stupid for that, in which case a coach is a good idea. But expensive. Most people are idiots so you can't even really go by recommendations.

Tbh i think its a psychological thing. Even if you were to restart at a really low weight you'll eventually lose patience and progressively overload too fast and end up sacrificing your form for higher numbers
Go light and slooooow it down. Think about every second of the exercise like arnie did. Make sure everything is perfect. You'll get so much more out of lifting a lighter weight with perfect form than a heavier weight with shit form
If you really are worried, invest in a couple of sessions from a trainer. Videos can only do so much. Spending a couple hundred bucks on mastering your form via direct feedback certainly beats fucking up your back and being stuck in physical therapy for months.
