>Tfw you're gonna make it soon enough
I feel you OP.
Every time I look at current body threads the guys that are my height look bigger even though I weigh a good bit more than they do.
I don't know how much the meme about people having different bone densities is true but I've never broken bones despite some pretty bad injuries and I suck at swimming so maybe the memes are real.
>>40020467
I feel like they must be real. I'm pretty slim and feel quite small at 6'1" 225lbs, especially compared to guys who are bigger than me but weigh like 40lbs less while not being all that much leaner. I don't know.
People are always shocked when I tell them my weight.
Calves are not something you build, they should just happen. Let me explain. Some dudes naturally have massive calves. You'd think it's genetic, but it's not. It's because some people instinctively know how to flex the foot when taking a step, as in "doming", raising the arch. That should happen each step when pushing off the foot. That step then turns into a semi-calf raise.
in the end of the video you get a side view. of course it looks a bit strange when overdoing it for demonstration purposes but you get the idea.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GY-mJjXmeIc
There are two kinds of people. Those do flex the foot in this way, and the other people who kind of ''roll'' on the feet, never flexing them. So although they're walking straight ahead, as far as their feet are concerned they're kind of like walking up a stairway. Because they're not doing the last doming/calf-raise push. They're just stepping down and rolling, never pushing.
Doming when walking speeds up your walking and is coupled with flexing the calf. Growing up with shoes and inactive lifestyles may be the reason some people have bad walking patterns. Honestly. We're wearing shoes. Imagine putting things similar to shoes on your hand and never using them, boxing gloves on your hands from day 1. You'd be a sick boxer but not much else. You could simulate fucking a tiny asian when jerking off with the glove though.
To fix this simply practice doming by pulling a rug or towel together with your toes still lying flat, so the arch pulls the towel in. Then practice doing that motion on every step you take. (just before lifting the foot). Relearn the walking pattern. For example Benni Magnusson. He doesn't train calves, but instead on every step he's calf raising 400 lbs throughout the day. In a year your calfs will have grown. You're welcome.

No thanks, I think massive calves are ugly as shit. I don't do any calf training at all and they're still too big for my liking.
I swim for my workouts and using the kickboard has given me some pretty nice calves but nothing freaky like this bullshit in the picture.
They look like fucking ball sacs
I have naturally large cunts from being a fat cunt as a kid and probably the thing you're talking about, but I don't think I want them any bigger. There was a point before I started doing leg work where my calves were bigger than my quads.
Srs Q. Is Drinking a protein shake (2 scoops) at the end of the night after drinking alcohol and then again the next morning bad?
drinking alcohol is bad
>>40020269
yes but in this context and combination if one must have alcohol?
>>40020280
one must never have alcohol
Hey guys I need some advice.
So apparently I stomp my feet on the treadmill, a guy next to me stopped me and complained I was making too much noise.
I usually have my headphones on and don't notice. Now I'm really conscious about it. How bad have I been fucking up?
>>40020198
>How bad have I been fucking up?
Your only fuck up is giving a shit about what the faggot next to you says.
fuck faggots who think the gym. should be quiet
>>40020198

im trying to lose aroung 20kg from 107kg, what do you guys think about insanity, its easy to do from my uni room and i hardly have any time for gym ?
Insanity changed my life. I got it because I wanted something intense that didn't require equipment.
I did two cycles (2 x 9 weeks) and lost like 30 pounds and saw all my other lingering health issues (sleeping issues, high blood pressure, etc) melt away.
Go for it OP. I am still doing a cycle here and there to stay in shape 4 years later.
> Try to spot when Ariel (the 2nd hottest chick on there I think) get kicked in the face
> Try not to laugh or throw something at the TV when the black crackhead looking chick tells Shaun she wants to leave
> watch the one spic in the background who just dogs it until the camera is on him then he is 150% about it
Also if you move onto Insanity: Asylum some of the same people appear and they are fucking shredded even more. Shows that this shit works.
But it is very very hard. Not really for a complete beginner.
Just want to add if you have questions I will keep this thread open. I didn't pay for the program so I feel I owe the Beachbody crew a bit..
how long was it before you started seeing a difference to your body?
is this achievable natty?
Unfortunately
no because he has used steroids
Whys his physique so bad? Genetics? Disproportionate lifting?
>Inb4 this is the natty limit
This is what girls ACTUALLY want
thats atleast 1.5 years natty
anyone that tells you otherwise doesnt lift
obvious roider is obvious /thread
>>40020066
How is that obvious? His delts aren't huge, veins are not really visible, he is generally small

>>40019850
You're short af bro.
>>40019869
>this is what people say when they're jealous of the presented physique
Pretty sad desu
OP you don't look like shit, but you don't look great. You need some more mass, and you could lose another 10 pounds of fat.
You mirin me, dyel fags?
>>40019734
Natties shouldn't compete, it just looks sad, even though this guy looks decent by every-day standards. Except his non-existant traps.
>>40019734
This guy got visited by the trap goblin, hard.
>>40019734
How sedentary does your lifestyle need to be in order not to have traps?
What would happen if I only ever did deadlifts? I don't have any equipment other than a bar and plates, so can't really do squats, bench press etc
Would certain areas be severely underdeveloped?
yeah you need at least ab training to counter the strong as fuck lumbar erector's you get. all the underdeveloped areas you already know. train or ignore, your choice. keep an eye on your posture and do this routine for a year and then get back to us. if your posture is getting fucked up, then take counter-measures.
>I can't really do squats
Clean the bar.
learn how to clean and you can at least do press and higher rep front squats. you can do a lot with just a barbell, it's not a terrible situation at all. if you figure out a way to do weighted dips as well you have most things covered
>tfw can't progress on my snatches anymore
How do I increase my upper back strength? Do I need to do more snatch balances? I need to improve strength and stability in the catching position.
Pic sort of related.
>>40019648
how the fuck should we know if you didn't post a video.
>>40019688
Haven't filmed myself. Coach says I'm landing too far forwards. I need to keep more upright and honestly I don't know how to do this. Doing lat pulldowns and/or pullups doesn't seem to give me the upper back strength I need.
>>40019648
>>40019710
Work on your technique first, you might be snatching like a retard. You'll need to film yourself for us to know for sure, but make sure the bar is tighter to your body and you're getting more explosive in the 2nd pull as you might be catching it too low as well.
Overhead squat, balance snatches or balance power snatches. Accessories can be lat pulldowns, wide rows, face pulls, so as long as you get scapular contractions, but the best exercises are the aforementioned.
>>40019616
>don't eat
>do push-ups sometimes
1800 calories a day, swimming 3 times a week, avoid the sun, shave your eyebrows, be as edgy as possible
Noice child-bearing hips!
Who here works 45+ hour manual labor? What so you bring for food? I want to stay thin I don't care about show muscles, but most laborers are fat because they eat like shit
>>40019513
>I want to stay thin I don't care about show muscles
You in the wrong neighbourhood, nigga
>>40019513
>pic of hoe
funny you chose that pic of, that looks like the exact type of hoe that goes for manual laborers, the used and abused type
>>40019543
getting jacked is a retarded meme.I've never met a girl who liked muscle heads. I'be worked with jacked idiots who couldnt lift 50 pounds for 5 minutes wihtout almost passing out. Having good cardio and endurance is better In every way
