I want to get my lil bro /fit/, but I don't want him to go to the gym because he's only an adolescent and I'm worried it might stunt his growth and he's already pretty short so it wouldn't be much help. So I'll get him to start training muay thai or boxing. But what about his diet? Should I even bother, seeing as he's still very much a kid?

Any advice how can i increase my pulling power to DUMB numbers?
i can currently do 250 kg conv, 230kg sumo, 260 high handles trap, 220 7 inch deficit trap bar, 205 behind the back ,215 snatch grip. But i wanna be way stronger
Should i squat, box squat,jump?
i think my legs are the issue because i can only squat 180kg, but i dont want them to fuck with my recovery
Idk if its wrong or right
For now i just pull something everyday, row everyday etc
Any strong anons here willing to give advice ?

can pull ups worsen your upper back?

Had an upper-back injury in the rhomboyd from lateral raises 3 months ago. I'm 99% recovered (upper back cracks a bit); OHP/Push press doesn't hurt at all (in fact they made it feel way better), squats or curls don't either, but I stay away from pull ups and deadlifts. Just started doing dumbbell rows a week ago, with shit weight (18kg) and 12-13 reps and it doesn't hurt at all.

Pull ups were my favorite exercise, I did them weighted 3x5 with 22kg. Should I start doing negatives or avoid them for a bit more?

Hey fit. Im pretty obese 145kg at 5ft 10 however due to my new school im going to i am walking around a lot, but the big problem is that my back hurts a lot and so do my joints. Ive been looking into shoe soles that say they help. As well as that losing weight obviously will stress my body less, so i am thinking of swimming every day in my apartment complexes pool. I just have this issue of extreme self conciousness with my shirt off in public, as if everyone is judging me the entire team. Which sucks because i really enjoy swimming a lot. Can i get any advice or perspective on this problem im facing ? Thanks.

also keep your tongue pressed against the roof of your mouth, but that will only help so much

I started pull my shoulders back so my hands next to my body not in front of me, and I legit feel like I get more oxygen and I have positive thinking patterns, I didn't know that posture has such effects. Maybe because slouched shoulders caused my lungs to be repressed. Anyway if you are a PC guy like me look after your posture.

can feel it all the way up to my head - clears my sinuses, eyes open up more, overall general mood improvement

still requires a lot of conscious effort to form a habit and make this the new normal, but squats and deadlifts have helped a lot
