I've had to take a week off lifting, first time in 4 years.
How bad will this fuck with my gains? I don't appear to have lost any size yet after 4 days of no lifting, returning to the gym next Monday on a new routine.
I was doing a PPL the last 6 months and REALLY fucked up with over-training, last week I felt incredibly ill and unable to recover and actually became extremely weak, which caused me to decide to take this week off training to try fix whatever i fucked up with my CNS or whatever.
Am I getting baited? One week is fucking nothing, many programs intentionally put in a deload week for recovery.

Yep. I got sick and had to take two weeks off in 2 years of not skipping a day (lifting day, still had rest days). Came back and hit a squat rep PR, form feeling comfy as fuck because my body got time to loosen up for once.

I wouldn't go near this place either though. It's probably expensive beyond believe and caters to the lowest common denominator of gym-goer. There's plenty of quality training gyms in Japan at a reasonable price.

I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head, like some of you complain when we indian use a bench in the gym even though we pay for it like u do. Only the amount of food and supplements they consume is unhealhty itself. Mr.Olympia level guys wake up in the middle of the night to eat as much calories an average male man consume. We talk about some people consume 5000-9000 calories a day while the average is 2000.
It takes only 1 wrong lifting to ruin ur muscle for life or injury you and put you in bed for a long time with the hope one day you will recover, many don't and lose their career to one bad lifting.
Bodybuilding is the most expensive sport there is and one of the most dangerous one. You need crazy amount of food and supplements to pay for unless you have your own supplement brand, you might be under the illusion the bodybuilders that lift 500lb is natural but they ain't, people take steroids which can cost 2500$ a month, your body with the food alone is getting fucked over, roids add into it.
