My car broke down 6 months ago and I started riding a bike to school.
It's about 2 miles one way.
My leg muscles got used to it within the first week but it's been 6 months now and my cardio STILL sucks. Like badly. It's not consistent either, some days it sucks more than others.
But in general I'm breathing very hard after like 30 seconds, and about half way there I'm literally panting and mucus just dripping out of my nose. Sometimes I almost need to stop or slow way down.
I'm not fat either, if anything I'm really underweight at 5'11 129 lbs.

Some autistic explanations -

>first I thought maybe my bike tires were gradually getting flatter in perfect proportion to make my increased cardio stamina seem the same as it was in the beginning
>then I thought the cold weather was gradually getting colder and dryer in perfect proportion

Does the cold even matter?
Do I just have a lung disease or cardiovascular disease or something?

I was riding to school my whole school time 5 miles one way. Can only say that it def had a positive effect on cardio.

Have you ever done smth else for cardio? Ever been in better shape than you are now? Maybe something is wrong with your heart or lungs?

After 6 fucking months you haven't even once stopped and thought "Hmm, I wonder how I can adjust my lifestyle to MAKE THIS FUCKING EASIER AND/OR ENJOYABLE AND NOT A CHORE"? Really?!

Eat some carbohydrates. Stop being a faggot. It's 2 fucking miles one way. Fuck. I do 2x 5.5 mile commute (11 miles total daily), plus work standing for up to 5 hours a day, and run anything from 5k to 10k every other day with longer at weekends.

actually low rep high weights is better for fat loss, suprisingly. meaning all those women doing meme high reps with the pink dumbbells just trying to "tone up" aka lose fat are actually doing even that wrong.

Difference in rep range makes so little difference to actual calories burned, you could literally eat the difference between a 20 rep set and a 5 rep set in one bite.

When I get good lat engagement, like during my last sets of pullups or one arm dumbbell rows, I feel what I can only describe as a good tickle in the lats. Honestly, the feeling is very similar to what it feels like when I get my dick sucked, but in my lats instead. I love it.

Anybody else have this?

of course you can build leg mass without 3x5 squats. 3x5 squats just happens to be the least uncomfortable and most effective way to build leg mass for natty beginners, which make up 99% of this board.

What's autistic about it? It's based off foods I know that my body reacts well to. It's a modified version of a plan I used to successfully lose 77 pounds in 4 months (298 to 221) but now allows for more "good" fat and fiber.

But can I even do this while starting at 20% bodyfat with the goal of wanting to go down to 12% bodyfat? Would it be pointless to start my powerlifting now if I want to drop bodyfat or what?

I want to cut down to 12% for health reasons.

Being at 20% (permabulking for awhile) is uncomfortable, I just don't feel good, not only for vanity reasons, I legit just don't feel healthy at this bf%.

I want to be a 10-12% bodyfat powerlifting that actually has a respectable weight to lifts ratio, then maybe I could perhaps compete in local meets at weight class where I fit well into at 10-12% bodyfat.

I'm not talking about becoming a meme powerlifter at 40% bodyfat.
