TDEE calculators are never accurate. I'm 120 kilos and I only require 2k calories on days I don't work out. I would turn into Boogie2988 on 3k calories.

Hello /g/, I've been losing weight for around a year now. Started at ~297 lbs (135kg) last january and I'm at ~196lbs now (89.4kg this morning, clothes off and empty bowels), I had a two month break during november and december of 2016, I just started again. My main goal is 143lbs (65kg) and I'm looking to achieve it as fast as possible. I've been eating at around 1200-1800 calories a day. I want to be 143 @ june. My height is 5'6 (167cm or so) and here's my daily food schedule:

Breakfast: 100g banana - 100 calories, 1 multivitamin and 2 fish oil pills

Lunch: 200g lentils/beans w/ spices + veggies (onions, broccoli etc.) - ~700 calories

Snack: 100g avocado - 160 calories


Total: 960 calories.


I also take pills that dampen my appetite (prescribed, not taking them with the intention of losing weight, I require them every day)

Is there anything that can be improved? Is 960 calories a day too little?

yes, especially if you do any sort of exercise. 500 to 800 under your TDEE is enough to steadily lose weight without feeling like shit all the time.

/fit/ has been good to me because of all the support I've felt on here. And we all have our demons to overcome. Mine was a very unhealthy relationship with food that kicked off a bad downward spiral

Or laziness
Or even stuff you can't control, like a bad schedule

We a have our setbacks. But the fact were here means that we want to be a part of a fitness community. We want to be /fit/

So i've been told that if i do the exercise in pic related with full angle (the example on the right) it could seriously damage my back.

Dear /fit/,

this is a calling for you to report from now on all current and future "/PLG/" threads and posts on this board to move them from /fit/ to the boards they actually belong: namely /sp/ or /asp/.
The simple reason is that "Powerlifting" has nothing to do with /fit/ which is a board about health and fitness related topics.
"Powerlifting" is a sport and should therefore be discussed on relevant boards that are about sports (/sp/ and /asp/).
The regular trips on /PLG/ also like to reffer to powerlifting as a sport so they also indicate that /PLG/ should belong on sport related boards and not on /fit/.
/fit/ is about health and fitness and if you look at the sport of powerlifting you quickly realise that is has absolutely zero things in common with /fit/.
Thank you for reporting /PLG/ threads to the mods so they can move them to the right boards and thank you for improving this board. Have a nice day anon.
