hi /fit/, today i realised you all lied to me but i don't hold it against you because it's likely out of ignorance and simply parroted information, much like how i have done to other anons.

today i met someone at the gym doing SL 5x5, and he has been logging his lifts since he started. on his mobile he showed me a very clear graph, and all his lifts are progressing linearly upwards with some plateaus here and there - but his bodyweight is going DOWN.

some people just have a better genetic deck of cards than you do, and will make gains doing anything

being able to sustain linear progression for that long in a calorie deficit or even at maintenance is really, really unlikely for most people

I'm starting to wonder....do we all actually perhaps train far more than we need to? Starting to feel like the last 5 years of lifting 5+ times a week has been pointless.

I expected my body to start atrophying muscle and gaining fat after only having done 1 full body session in the last 9 days, but nope..still look like I've been going to the gym everyday the last week.

Anyone here gone from a push/pull/legs twice a week (So six training days) to a regular chest/arms/back/shoulders/legs cycle? What was the initial strength fall off like (If any) and how much of a difference did you think it made in quality of sessions? My bodies way too adjusted to the frequency of my training, havent had doms in months, so looking to switch up and be more focused on individual groups.

What does fullbody look like on paper, do you have much in the way of auxiliary movements or is it largely if not entirely compounds? Do you taper at all throughout the week as far as volume goes?

Do you know what I want most from life, /fit/? I would love nothing more than to go to the gym, work hard, and then drive home to a hot meal, made by a woman who would love me. Just a small house, decent income, and to have someone to spend time with.
There is no greater pain to meet a girl who is precisely how you'd like them to be, and look at them with utter love. Not sexually, but to truly love them for who they are. The worst pain I have ever felt in my life was to know of this person, and to spend time with them, eat with them, talk with them, work with them, but learn that they will do these things with you only as a friend. A girl I know is in a weird relationship where she always fights with her fiance, but at work, we go on food dates, laugh, share every fucking interest, and I love her more than anything else in the world.
/fit/, the pain of knowing that a man who has tricked the girl of your dreams to being with him and for you to not be able to convince the girl to run away is the utmost fucking annoyance. Sure, the girl is stupid for not knowing better, but fuck it plays with my head.
She says I'm better than him in every way. The only thing stopping her she said is my age. I'm 23, she's 25.

Kill me, /fit/. I just want to be with someone I love. Why lift if I cannot be with someone I care for? I fucking never cared for anyone else in life. Love is a rare thing for me.

How do I lose my love handles?

I've been lifting a lot and have been making great gains, but just can't seem to lose my love handles.

I also run a mile after each lift.

Currently 6' 210, have broad shoulders/back, I don't look fat besides the fucking handles.

Also I've been limiting my calories to 1700 a day. Take caffeine, green tea extract, yohimbe, and fish oils for supps.
