When will you leave your physical body behind?

Got you bro

thanks my authentic african american
I'm actually getting kinda emotional, /fit/.
I literally wanted to cry when I left the gym today. After all these months in the gym, people are coming up to me, talking to me about random stuff, people smile at me, girls are talking to me, the whole gym is so cool with me. Before all of this, I was just some skinnyfat literal neckbeard with body hair over my entire body in crazy amounts, watching anime and eating bullshit like chinese food and drinking tons of soda a day.
I got fucking emotional. I feel happy. I feel like a fucking idiot for what I've done to myself all the years before I started to lift. When I turned 23 last July, I changed so much.
It feels fucking good, /fit/. I feel like a pussy writing this, but I never got attention before. I feel fucking depressed that other anons suffer from self esteem, and I am finally just coming out of the hole that I dug myself out of.
I am so fucking happy. I feel like I'm apart of daily life now. I have confidence, happiness. I thought shitty food made me happy. My body being healthy makes me happy, and everyone deserves to feel this way. I feel like in a weird way that I honestly, HONESTLY feel like people treating me nice in the gym feels like it's too good to be true, and that I almost feel like I'm in a dream. This kind of happiness only comes from dreams, really. I am without words how nice people are to me now that I've cleaned myself up, bought new clothes that show off my muscles, shaved all my ugly shit off, and smile and talk more.
I am fucking crying right now. What a pussy I am.
gj but dont post your body cause well all call you dyel
post photo
I was also a fucking idiot. I said I was lifting for girls when I first started, but no. I lift for MYSELF and because it's good for me, and that eating quality food is good for me.
I should be saying that I do this for myself, and nobody else. What a fucking idiot I was.
Thank you, /fit/. You've always told me this, and you taught me much. I've learned from this board more than anything else in my life.
Does strength training make you lose flexibility?
Doing MMA and I have a hard time getting my kicks high.
"strength training" does not reduce flexibility but if you put on a lot of muscle you will be less flexible.
>>40235495
Thats what I meant. Can stretching help a lot or would it make a small amount of difference?
>>40235510
you need to do mobility exercises if you want to remain flexible while strength training

I am dyel and not fat so that's a size small boys
Medium SOON
Daily reminder if someone claims they "fill out a extra large " they are a /fraud/ that is training for years and dedicated to bodybuilding OR a delusional fat retard from plg (99% chance second one).
Post your outfits bros

>>40235466

>>40235474
yeah
realistically, how big do i have to be to be able to crush antifa skulls with my bare hands?
Not that big. Just toss a 15 pound medicine ball I the air for a few minutes a day.
>>40235419
Probably about 120lbs.
>>40235419
Need to be able to produce 520 pounds of force roughly
I used to love coming here. Until a trip fag called ALEX showed up.
Every single thread I open he's there, taunting me with his avalanches of unreadable text, double spaced. Bone, Silian Rail. Text that, although comprehensible and indeed, in english, never makes any sense.
He says the same things every fucking thread.
Whether people reply to him or not, doesn't matter. He's just there, day in and day out.
I can't do it anymore.
My wife has noticed I've been depressed lately. She thinks it's because I've been training early in the morning instead of at night so that I can spend more time with her. The truth is, it's just this motherfucking laptop salesman shitposting on an indonesian midget boxing leaderboard. The other night I was replying to his bait while she lay in bed next to me. Stroking my arm asking when I was going to get off the computer and come and cuddle.
I couldn't do it, I had to let this piece of shit Alex character know how autistic he was. but, like playing D&D with a brick wall GM, it was no use.
She got upset and slept on the couch that night. I don't think I'll ever forgive myself.
Today I went into a thread as daily after-work ritual.
There he was, double spacing and everything.
I've had enough lads.
You win, Alex. You motherfucker.

Are you afraid of losing your gains due to factors beyond your control, such as depression or sickness
>>40234955
ive already lost it like 3 times. it's depressing and now im obsessed and if i have to miss a single workoutfor anything i get paranoid and freak out that it's going to happen again
>>40234955
I used to be.
I was all about getting huge as fuck for 4 years.
Then I got into running and hiking because of girl.
Lost 65 pounds of fat and muscle but mostly muscle.
Dumped girl.
Started lifting super serious again.
Gained it all back in 6 months.
I want to revolve my lifting around the Overhead Press and Deadlift. I was previous doing 5x5 with all the compounds, but as I've transitioned into casual lifting, I really don't give a fuck about having a heavy squat or bench. The way I see it, those should be accessories for the exercises I really want to improve-- the OHP and Deadlift. I also row, clean, and am starting to transition into Olympic lifting.
Can anyone supply a template or recommend a program that builds on these two exercises? I'm an intermediate lifter, but I'm not familiar with any such thing.
imagine what all that is going to look like when she's 80
do squat bench and deadlift stupid fuck

>anytime you're hungry jerk off instead
but that's legit good advice. burns up to 520 cal and makes me not wanna eat anymore. If it's late enough, it'll make me sleep.
>>40234772
> You have been visited by the lazy fatasfatass of YouTube. All your gains will vanish unless you post in this thread FUCK OFF FATASS
>>40234864
>burns up to 520 cal
maybe if you're jerking off for 6 hours
I've read the sticky. I've lurked for almost a year. I've gone at least 3 weeks eating 1500 calories a day, and I eat healthier options when available.
I haven't joined a gym, it's too expensive, because I live in NY. The nearest gym is a long walk from home, and I'm lazy as fuck.
What can I do at home? How can I stay motivated? What can motivate me?
Please help me. I'm sick of being a fatass. I'm 180lbs at 5' 7". My friends say I don't look fat, but thats because I wear black all the time and I have wide shoulders and a broad chest, and i keep my gut sucked half in. I don't want to have to do this anymore.
>>40234603
Get some dumbbells and a pull up bar. Have a set number of exercises you can do regularly while listening to music or watching tv and increase the length and intensity of your workout as you're able.
>>40234603
Is there not a planet fitness around? Don't they cost basically nothing in merica?

>started yohimbine today
>tomorrow I got classes and I go to the gym
>supposed to take yohimbine while fasted to actually get it to work
>mom wont let me leave the house without breakfast because she's brainwashed by the media
What do?
Also yohimbine thread, how's everyone's progress?
Just take it a while (2-4 hours) after a meal and avoid anything that could cause a spike in insulin during a workout so no bcaas or pre-workout
>>40234548
as long as you're not loading up on carbs, you can get back to a normal insulin state after a few hours.

I regularly volunteer at a local foundation that centers on supporting kids with mild to severe autism, we even have an online group discussion board where we get to interact with more kids with autism and give help and guidance to each other.. I-I mean to them.
