I'm 5'9/175cm. This wouldn't be too big of a problem but my wrists are 6.5 inches/16.5 centimeters. Even though I went from 55kg/120lbs to 64kg/140lbs I am still pretty skinny. How do you deal with being forever small?

Why is it bad to lift with the intention of burning calories, retaining muscle, and increasing metabolism? It's good way for fatties to burn more fat on a calorie deficit, no? You'll still get noob gains and be able to lift for strength once you're lean.

It's not, and nobody ever said it was. In fact, the opposite is true. If you are losing weight, you should lift, despite the fact that you won't gain muscle (or not very much, anyway), simply to preserve what you have.

Hi /fit/ I have been going to gym more and more, and finally i got bigger, however now I started to play rugby and speed, agility and endurance are being a challenge.

Any good resources or rutines to improve this and be more than just a strong but short guy on the field?

sprint to goal line, do 10 push ups, sprint back. Sprint to 22m, 15 push ups and back, sprint to halfway, 20 push ups and back, then to the other 22m, 15 push ups and back etc.
You can replace push ups for burpees, but then your sprints won't be as good.
That's just one of the basic stuff we do. There's a lot more drills I know of but they are mainly skill and agility focused.
I assume you have a coach? He should be able to give you a proper routine based on how he thinks your speed and endurance levels are.

Other one is almost maxed out, post any here is where you post questions you might have that do not merit their own thread.

I've been bulking since early June and doing really well, put on about 30lbs with a clean diet and all my lifts have increased significantly. But this past week I just haven't had the motivation to continue. I haven't been as strict towards myself about getting my ass up and making myself some food or really trying to get to the gym. I haven't lifted in 3 days (I'm going today to tear it up) but I really want to get my momentum going again. Does this happen or am I just being a fag? How can I ramp back up my motivation and focus I can get back on the horse?

The PT's where you go to work out will try to rope you into buying a training program and a wall of supplements. It's a toss up what quality of PT you get and will be more expensive than reading the sticky. That being said, if you have any questions about form or certain lifts, asking a PT is always better than not.

went to dentist for first time in maybe 2 years

did xrays and cleanings. no cavities but i brushed too hard. i need fillings to cover the very weak enamel. going next week :(

my teeth are getting a bit crooked and i can get braces if i wanted. should i get them because i know they're very expensive. not sure if my insurance will cover it. thoughts on invisalign?

I'm trying to work on becoming more articulate. I am a slight autist so speaking is difficult to me. I might come up with three sentences to answer a question and use a mix of the two accidentally. Furthermore I now make to do lists to ensure I am the most productive I can be. I spend more time with my parents now, and I try to tell the truth (but not everything that is true).

Right now i am reading through an analysis of "court of the crimson king", its kinda /sorted/ related in a way. Considering making a russian translation for my fellow gopniks. Also, might start to work on compiling an analysis of Leviathan by Zvyagintsev, again, related to shit that JBP talks about.
