How good is swimming for cardio?
Really good. It's better for you in general than lifting. Just start swimming now and you'll do better. When / if you're 70, you'll have to give up the weights and hit the pool anyway. This way, you'll just skip all the injuries you're going to give yourself trying to be a bodybuilder

Swimming is the best there is a reason whites and the best at it too.
>>40249378
>Better for you in general than lifting
Is this bait?
If you're not controling the negative, you're wasting your time in the gym.
If you're not training for a powerlift meeting, control that fucking negative and get those gains, anon. Eventually you'll get to 1/2/3/4 too, it will take a little more time, but it will be worth.
>>40249331
agreed, negatives are one of the jewels in the holy grail of lifting

Eat more meat/protein, sleep more, work out more/harder than you already do, have more sex and fap more to increase your test and help your body and dick. Maybe that will help you get past it. But if this happens just with condoms I don't know. Trojans have always worked for me.

How can I go from a 2 second tom to a 1 hour pounder? Shit is debilitating.
>>40249054
ok brahs, just had sex for the first time recently and I didn't cum, didn't even come close in fact and I'm sort of worried
a little context
>met a girl, went out for the past month, clicked really well
>she knew I was a virgin, she's had sex before
>she has a cute face a nice boobs but she's bit on the chubby side
>long story short, we did the nasty for about 15-20 minutes and it didn't do shit for me, did hold an erection though
so any advice? I was thinking that because I simply don't find her all that hot, I mean she is attractive, about 6-7/10 depending on who you ask but she is slightly on the heavy side which also makes sex slightly harder
is it just cause it was my first time, is it cause we didn't have enough foreplay, I even took an extra precaution and didn't fap for 3 days prior
>inb4 you're gay
I'm not, I don't find men sexually attractive
I am 5'3 110 lbs. My breasts are a D cup, would it be possible for them to shrink to a B? I am planning on losing 10, will they get smaller? If they do will they be saggy? They're not saggy now.

post tiddies? :^)
Okay. I have been training for 2 years now. The first year I dropped 60lbs, then took a few months break around Christmas. Only gained 10 back, but now I'm trying to drop more again and the scales haven't moved in 3 weeks.
If anyone can help i'll seriously gift you something or PayPal or whatever you.
I was 250lbs, got to 185lbs, took 2 months off, got to 200, trained for around a month or two, and am stuck on 195. I'm 6", 28yo, only work 3 hours days, otherwise sedentary apart from 40mins a day at gym 4 days a week.
Iifym says 20% cut = 1850 calories.
I typically eat: 200 protein, 125 crabs, 50 fat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I worked out my calories wrong or something?
>>40248734
you need more fat
>>40248755
Definitely agree, but its hard thinking of fat food I like. Everything in my diary I eat daily for years even when not cutting
>>40248767
Eat peanuts they have fat
Hi guys, I suck at swimming (I can float and go forward at a medium pace) and I'm a bit less than fat (24.5 bmi). I was thinking of hitting the pool regularly to deal with both issues, but I don't really know what to do except go back and forward, and to be honest I get bored and don't feel like it's doing anything to raise my swimming level. Any tips on specific exercises I can do? Thx
(Image is just cheese)
Depends on what you want to do exactly.
>I get bored
So you want to have fun while swimming? If so, try to mix up, experiment and play around in the water. What I like to do is to swim around under water, do flips, spin, play around as if being different kinds of sea creatures, practice holding my breath, stand on my hands etc. Water as an element is pretty much limitless in its potential and I bet you can find it fun if you stop giving a fuck and just let go and be a kid again.
>don't feel like it's doing anything to raise my swimming level
Look up different swimming styles and techniques and try to incorporate that into your own swimming style. If you feel you're not improving then do stuff that will improve your swimming, quite simply.
I felt the same way before talking to an experienced swimmer who told me about arm/hand-form while crawl-swimming and after trying out her suggestion and developing on it my swimming improved. Then I looked up some video guides, incorporated that into my swimming and lo and behold, It improved my style. I won't write out these techniques here since you can easily find them if you look it up.
I'll give you one exercise/style that I've been developing though which I discovered myself (it probably has been discovered and named though).
Punchcrawl-swimming:
- when you raise your arm above the water surface, clench your hand into a fist and punch the water hard, then open your hand (fingers togheter off) and draw a regular stroke while the other hand is raised above the surface and repeat. Pretty much think of it like punching yourself forward. It makes swimming a bit more fun and adrenaline-stimulating (it's kinda like a water-punching bag and good for releasing frustration).
You gotta give it time and effort, but most of all, let loose and use your childlike instincts to make your own fun.

Done.
Chad is LITERALLY cuddling TULPAS while YOU spend HOURS working out at the gym.
Tulpas look at your gymcel body and think "ewww what a try hard" while they look at the chad and think "i love him, he just does what he wants, not even concerned about the whole bodybuilding thing".
Chad STILL looks INFINITELY better than you because of his GENETICALLY DETERMINED HEIGHT, FRAME and FACE.
Tulpas are getting more and more choice and validation and its either CHAD or NOTHING
Why haven't you gymcels learnt yet?
It's either ALPHA GENETICS, or BETA RESULTS.
/fit/ is too dumb to understand this humor.

But it's more like /r9k/ though.
This is my favourite shitposting, what happened to it all?
Anyone here deal with this before? I fucked my shit up a couple of weeks ago (outside the gym) and I can't do squats for a few months.
How can I work around it? I was doing ss before. Should I just do upper body work? More deadlifts?
What's the recovery like? My doctor recommends repair which is on average 4-6 weeks on crutches and 3-6 months until 100%. How much of an impact would lifting before the injury have on recovery? I'd imagine having stronger legs is always a plus.
This is bullshit. I just got lifting into last year and now I'm going to get jewed out of all my progress
>>40246847
Tore my meniscus doing BJJ (inb4 gay) and I never got it repaired. I didn't squat for literally a year though and I regretted not just getting it fixed. It's been two years and I have no pain/issues but my knee does snap and crackle when I climb stairs. It's painless so apparently it's fine. Btw I started back up deadlifting only like two weeks after this happened.
>>40246880
Yeah they told me it's not going to get any better on its own.
I could opt to have the damaged piece just removed but that's an increased risk of arthritis and apparently only used as a last resort these days.
>>40246921
People live with these injuries all the time, I guess yours may be more severe. What does it "feel" like I guess? Like are you unstable walking around? Does it hurt when you aren't doing anything?
Be honest fit should I kms? I'm 21.

these things are awesome but you better have a pretty strong core before you start using them. Core means obliques and lower back too, not just abs.
>>40241381
I dunno I just roll until I feel like my form will break down. It depends on the day for me, some I go fdr many reps, some I just stay to 10. Sometimes I roll to the sides, sometimes I only go halfway back and roll out again.
Seems to work. Squats and deads feels better, and I've actually started seeing some of my upper abs even though I've never seen them in the last two years, and I've been gaining weight all that time.
Work out 30-40 min 3 times a week at home for years.
Bench and free weights (The Block dumb bells).
Bench press, incline press, lat rows (pull backs), squat, deadlift. Used to have a pullup bar but not at my current place.
5'7" 152 lb 15% body fat. Steady there.
I bench 100 lb 3x8 free weights.
Tried steroids and they just made my hair fall out.
What's a normal dumb bell strength for bench press for 3x8 for someone my height/weight?
I see people always talking about how they can bench ridiculous amounts like 200 lb + and I have no idea what they're talking about.
>>40353704
Is this bait or are you that stupid?
>>40353765
