I don't have a squat rack so I though I'd try replacing back squats with front squats. Any downsides? I've also read that zercher squats (pic related) were intended for this situation. Are they any good? Also for front squats would you recommend cross arm grip or clean grip?

I hate barbell rows /fit/. Progress is very slow and I'm not sure my form is perfect. Is doing weighted chins/pullups enough for the back or do I have to some sort of row? My routine is 3 days a week sort of a full body workout, resembles SS but with accessories.

Just do dumbell rows. You can load a ton of weight on DB rows and I'm not convinced it has a negative impact on strength compared to barbell

I know people on here like to make fun of curlbros, but be honest, who doesn't like big arms? I feel my arms are small in comparison to the rest of my body, what kind of exercises should I do for big arms? I already do skull crushers and have tried multiple forms of curls, what else?

Its all about quality high reps and a shitload of sets multiple times a week that gets you jacked

You dont need huge weights for arms, just try to get the lactic acid burning through ~10-15 reps. Concentration curls are a good exercise

here you go:

Incline Bench curls: with your arms straight down to the floor curl the weights up to your chest.

Hammer curls: when you finish twist your wrist to the outside to get a bit of a squeeze. these are fun because you can get a little forearm action on them.

Lifting made me very happy.

>no longer ashamed to change in front of people
>no more t-shirt in the swimming pool
>generally less cynical and depressed outlook on life
>good friends and a gf

I couldn't be happier and its all because of lifting. I used to tell myself I was introverted for years, but I think that was not totally true. I still hate being centre of attention, but my friends are what get me out of bed in the morning. Just thinking about them and the fun/laughs we have, it makes me smile. There isn't a lot I wouldn't do for my friends and family, they're my whole world. Pre-lifting I had none of that. Sat in my room 24/7, overweight, turbo autist.

In my case, lifting was the catalyst which changed my mindset and allowed me to have this, but its not needed for everyone. Look around you and see whats actually important to you, see what it takes to keep that and there you go. Appreciate the things you have.

That's not how it works at all. Also, the occasional time I go heavy drinking and pigging out, I generally wake up considerably lighter. I just end up dehydrated and tend to take a massive shit as soon as I wake up to flush everything out
